You can easily define the area or just one character or number within whatever area you want to erase and write over it without any problem. I've used this product in my home office for 10 years or more.

The brand I buy.
Right size for accounting ledgers. Easier to write on than liquid correction fluid. It can be peeled off when the kids/grandkids go crazy.
