Biena Chickpeas Snacks, Sea Salt, 5 oz Bag

I've recently begun eating more of a Mediterranean diet, but I love snacking on salty foods. I found these while shopping online at Walmart, so I tried them. I love them! They have a nice light crunch and they aren't too salty, but just perfect! I wish they came in a larger bag size.

These remind me of the chickpeas sold in local Italian mom n pop stores. They're a bit better though because they have sea salt which enhances the taste. Not too salty, and they are definitely fresh. One of my favorite snacks, and they are hard to find. I hope Walmart continues to carry them. I would like a bit more in the bag for the price.

I saw these on a healthy recipe channel and tried them for the first time, as a replacement to chips. They were surprisingly very tasty and crispy. Will now be a staple in my home!

These are fantastic. A little pricey, but a great snack to satisfy a salty craving without empty calories. My toddler even loves these!

I love this snack...it is a healthy alternative to chips and just as satisfying.

I'm giving these 3 stars for the actual chickpeas, as they are seemingly perfectly roasted, with good crunch, but chew easily without worrying about breaking teeth. However, I deducted 2 stars, because this sea salt flavor, (which is as close to plain as I could find,)> is soooo salty!! I actually love salt, and even as a saltaholic I can tell you that I had to literally rinse off all 4 bags, dry them, and put into a ziplock, in order to eat them! They really are way too salty! Holy Cow! I wouldn't purchase this brand again, unfortunately, due to that reason. 😕

The only reason for the not so great rating is the fact that no matter how long I chewed up the chickpeas they still got caught in my throat - not a good thing if you are prone to choking on dry food.

While I found the overall taste acceptable, these are extremely dry. I could only eat them when mixed with something else. Otherwise, it felt like I was eating dust after four chews.

These are horrible. I do not recommend, these for anyone.
