Big Time Toys YoYo Ball (Styles Will Vary) Handheld Returnable Yo-Yo

This arrived today and my 8yo hasn't put it down since! I'm really impressed with how easy it is to use and do tricks with it. He's been using several other yoyos but hadn't had much luck doing tricks with those. He was so excited about using this and showing me how it works. It seems pretty sturdy as well so I expect it will last better than the dollar store versions we've tried in the past. We're very happy with this product!

Ordered this for my grandson who had been struggling trying to use a traditional YOYO. By the end of the weekend he was doing tricks.!! Highly recommend. This yoyo ball always comes back up. Unlike a tradition yoyo... Much easier for the younger kids. Lots of entertainiment at a Great price.

This is such a fun toy! Our four-year-old daughter has been playing with it pretty much every day since we got it. It is like a yo-yo in that you hook the string to your finger and jerk your hand downwards to make it go away from you. But it is different in that it is round, like a ball, and you don't have to do anything to make it come back to you--there is a spring of some sort inside that makes it wind back up automatically, so it just zips right back up to your hand. It's really a lot of fun and, for a younger kid or one who never could master a real yo-yo (...like me), it's great fun. I will say it takes a little practice to get it to extend fully on the string; it really needs a fair amount of force for the ball to go away from you. I think maybe as the spring loosens up a bit with use, it gets a little easier, but, then, even with practice, our daughter got a whole lot better at it, too, so it's just a matter of using it. The design on the one we got wasn't what the description said (checkerboard, I think?); it is purple with a green swirly on it, so it looks cool as it rotates. The plastic of the ball is good and hard and seems to be quite solid. Our daughter has yet to crack it, at any rate, and she has dropped it a few times (and perhaps thrown it once or twice). We love it.

My daughter is having a lot of fun using this Big Time Toys Black & White Checkered Yo-Yo Ball. She has played with the original string yo yo and enjoys this one more because it easily springs up. She tosses it around and lets it spring up then tosses it out again. The clear outer shell is cool looking so you can see the colors inside. The size is perfect for my 7 year old's hands. Overall fun for kids and budget friendly!

My kids really like yo-yo's but they end up not really being able to use it properly since they are still little. They get the cord tangled a lot which leads to it getting knotted so much it becomes unusable. This yo-yo ball, however, is perfect for the little ones! It has a cord that retracts on its own so they can pull and swing on the yo-yo as much as they want without it getting tangled. It also gets them used to the way a yo-yo works so they can use this as a starter to then moving on to a regular yo-yo. I do think it might not be so fun for older children since you don't need so much skill to master this toy; however, if you have younger kids this will keep them entertained!

My youngest really wanted a yoyo. Now after having spent money on countless yoyos for my older kids I decided to go a different route. I am so glad I did. My 5 year old loves this yo-yo ball. Perfect for him since he's a beginner. He feels like a pro, and I didn't have to put up with whining or the chore of winding a yoyo up over and over.

This yo-yo is definitely meant for a beginner or child under 5 yro. This yo-yo has a round covering that is easy for little hands to catch and it doesn't knot up like a regular yo-yo.

I am sure this is meant for a child, however I am 38 and have wanted a yo yo for maybe 6 mos now...no reason really....maybe bc my work clearance badge is on a retractable belt clip which I fling in circles, etc. This is going to make me look stupid but, whatever. I took this out of the pkg to play with and it only fit on my finger until the first knuckle...As I was trying to ninja and walk the dog....it flew off my finger several times (luckily not making contact with my cats, who think this is a toy for them yet upon contact, no doubt they would see stars). Then I read the back of the pkging and....You loop the string through the finger loop to secure it on any size finger. Mind Blown!! This yoyo is so different than the original....it hasn't failed to recoil yet and it hasn't tangled once! My only kinda issue is that it takes some strength/effort to really extend it....but even if littles extend it a little, it does rebound....building their skills! 1000 times better than the 90s version!

Not your tradition yo yo. This yo yo can be played with by anyone who struggles with a tradition yo yo. It's so fun to play with. It's retractable, easy to Keep flicking your wrist to throw out the yo yo, you don't have to reroll it up in order to continue to play with, like a traditional yo yo, once you've lost your momentum/string. It takes a little getting used to, because if you're familiar with how a traditional yo-yo works, it's like a easy operated, upgrade! You can learn tricks too, which takes practice. My daughter, husband and I, really enjoyed playing with it! Highly recommend it. Make sure you follow the directions on how to properly put it on your finger. You need to loop it around your finger, to insure it stays on. It stays secure on your finger, this way, it doesn't come off while you're playing with it. The ring that's on the string, can irritate your finger/hand after long time use. It could be made with better material, so it's more comfortable.

I've had this thing for a little while because I wanted to be sure it was durable. Most yo-yo's sort of stop working after a couple weeks. This one is different. The advertisement is right; it ALWAYS comes back. My cats and dog love when I play with this thing!
