I've been using Bioadvanced for my roses for years. I recently switched to a cheaper rose fertilizer but did not have good results. I was having leaves turning yellow and dropping and also a lot of leaf growth and not as many blooms. I switched back to Bioadvanced because I never had a problem when I was using it. It does protect from disease as well.
We see an improvement in my roses after using "BioAdvanced All In One Rose %26 Flower Care 4lb Granule Fertilize and Protect", however for black spot treatment this product is not top of the line in results. If you need to get rid of black spot and mildew, it's probably going to take straight copper sulphate in multiple treatments, especially in humid and watery climates /environments. For stronger plants and good blooms the fertilizer is good, though you have to stay on top of your applications during growing seasons. In Texas, the summer is too hot to do a lot of fertilizer every 6 weeks (read label instructions for how often to apply for your particular plants and in what temperatures). Since the slow release hangs around but won't burn your ornamentals and garden plants, you can gauge the progress best, in order to know if you're getting bursts of growth or bloom or are needing to adjust your amount per your square footage. My experience with the BioAdvanced all- in - one has been focused with several types and varieties of ROSES-- and their companion plants nearby. Echinacea and yarrow that bloom, and a few herbs that like sun- have responded differently (many herbs prefer poor soil anyway) so it's best to try avoiding a wide variety of surrounding herbs and especially wildflowers, since those tend to need much different requirements. Pest prevention seems pretty good though some types of insects can still arrive on your plants and needing insecticide if you see many. Overall a good basic fertilizer and fair insect and mildew protection. If you keep up with the repeated applications, I think the strengths become better in action.
Bayer "ALL IN ONE" - I have used this for years - can't praise it enough. In the past I worked alot so wasn't much time to care for roses no matter how much you LOVE them. Now I'm in my 80s - so you know what that means. If there isn't anyway to take all the different/correct steps to care for them - you might give this a try. This product does everything except cut the roses %26 put them in a vase. Bayer use to have (not sure now) a product "Bayer 2 in One" few pennies less - not worth it!
If you are reading reviews , please note the 5 stars are NOT for these scales but for a ring. Unfortunately I didn't read all the reviews before buying it or I never would have bought it. 1. This scale did not pair with my Bluetooth. 2. I followed directions and stepped on scale barefoot but it kept saying to step on scale barefoot and I was! It showed my weight as 76 lbs. I haven't weighed 76 lbs in 60 years! 3. Directions don't help when you can't even use the app. 4. There is not any suggestions for troubleshooting.
This worked really well. something was eating my flowers plus I needed to feed them too. Just sprinkled around the roots %26 watered. In 2 days the plants were coming back %26 a month later they are blooming beautufully.
BioAdvanced All in One Rose and Flower Care is my go to fertilizer and systemic bug control for all my flowering shrubs and flowers! Use this every few months and your plants will be healthy and maintenance free!
Every spring, my wife and I clean out our Rose beds add new mulch and also add this product. Easy to use, especially once the roses are pruned back and the soil is loosened up. Had a half a cup for each plant, sprinkled with a simple shaker top. (Estimate the measurement). Never fails to produce.- healthy roses with big flowers . Cars frequently slow down to admire our roses in the summer. Also prevents fungus and predatory insects. We do still have problems with snails. Use a separate nail bait for that.
I have been using Bioadvance for my plants, specially roses and they look beautiful. It treats for disease, bugs like aphids, Japanese beetles and it's a fertilizer too. Excellent product to use on your flowers.
if you have rose bushes or only one rose bush you need to buy this. it not only fertilizes your rose bush but it protects it from aphids for at least a month. so much better than the sprays that have to be reapplied after a rain. love my aphid free rose bushes.
I always use this on my roses. It makes a huge difference. They look so much better and grow faster.
