Great product I discovered after some online research. Had the exact chemical that is known to deter and destroy the plant. Everyone in OR knows we are burdened with blackberry bramble that is super invasive and a beast to make go away. I started with a few sprays on the growing plant (even though instructions on line, advise to cut down to the root first), just to see if there was going to be any impact. BOOM, within hours the leaves started to go limp and dangle. So i knew I was onto something. A few days later and the same growth was now a ragdoll. Next steps will be to follow through with the cutting down to the root/stalk portion and giving a heavy dose to completed the process. Bye bye blackberry.
Just checked the brush I'm trying to kill, and one week after spraying the dying continues. The smaller sprouts are already dead and brown, the rest are wilting and dying back in a wave. It's interesting to watch the herbicide propagate through the trees leaves down the branches to the trunks and hopefully to the roots. Time will tell whether this is a long term solution, but it does seem to work as advertised.
I was initially disappointed with this product. I sprayed it on a row of pine trees that were being overtaken by Virginia Creeper, and after a couple of days...nothing. However, after a week or so, that Virginia Creeper that was covering my pine trees was dead. It got the area in between the trees, too. It's been about two months, and that area still looks nice and clean, no creeping vines. I definitely recommend, just don't expect instant results.
I probably don't need this amount, I could have gotten a smaller bottle. It takes it a while to work but did a good job killing poison ivy. I also sprayed it on some other stuff it wasn't meant for, there's this bush or something trying to take over the porch. I only sprayed it once and didn't think it would work on it but it's showing damage now so Im going to spray it all over this time and hope it kills it out too. The nozzle works good but the size is heavy to carry around for someone weaker like me. I haven't seen the poison ivy grow back over the area I already killed out.
Worked very well on maple saplings that were 2-1/2'-3' tall that I couldn't get to with the mower. Now on taller ones over 8' it didn't work so well but I couldn't coat all the leaves. The ones I could spray shriveled up and died in about two weeks so if you can get to the majority of the leaves to spray them then this works good. It does not work very well for common weeds though and RM 43 will take care of them and anything around them for a year.
well it's not exactly what I thought it was! it doesn't work that great for the price I would have tried to find something better because even after 3 applications theses weeds are still not dead! better off using a diesel mixture if it was not next to my house! or a different product all together. Didn't want to use chemicals to kill the invasive honeysuckle along our fence line. After struggling with natural methods that didn't work…I ordered this product. Within 24 hours we noticed the leaves turning brown. It's only been a few days but we are hopeful!
Used on nut grass. Applied twice. Did not affect weeds. Worthless.
ordered online with aa few other items (clothing and olive oil). was sent all in the same box, jug was in a plastic zip lock style bag and thank goodness it was. when i opened the box the jug leaked and half the bag was filled with liquid! i wasnt able to return to the atore immediately and after a few day it ate thru the bag leaked thru the box and all over my rug and hardwood floors!!! had to figirr out how to transport to the store. do yourself a favor and just buy it from the store...the almost $2 you save buying online isnt worth all that hassle!
i followed the directions to the exact... tried it twice- once on heavy weedy brush with no results and another time on grassy weeds in my sidewalk and again nothing happened. i ended up mixing vinegar and salt together and that did the job (much cheaper too).
