I purchased this hose because I needed something tougher that the "pocket hose" and lighter and easier to handle than a conventional rubber hose. This hose was perfect. I need to drag the hose across my backyard into the greenhouse and the lighter pocket hoses were getting snagged and punctured from the sticks in the yard. I suffer from terrible arthritis and cannot handle a heavy, hard rubber hose. This hose was the solution.
Much lighter in weight than other hoses. Hasn't kinked but am able to press in to stop water flow. It seems to be rugged enough to last a long time. Very pleased !
this is a replacement for one of those cheap silly hoses, turn the water and the hose comes to you. Well, they kink, they split and don't have as much power and strength. I purchased a 100 ft for front yard of this hose 2 years ago, never kinks, and yes, a car can run over it and no issues. because I went through 3 hoses for the back, I decided cheap was out. But with Walmart prices and sales, I still get a good deal for less money. This is the hose you want, and yes, it is light weight to carry, even the 100 ft hose. WOW!!!
Excellent product. Love how light weight it is. Puncture/Tear resistant. Nice fat nozzle attachment keeps the hose from bending at the faucet. Great price.
Lightweight is right. Dragging it across a lawn while watering caused a breach, or maybe it was just a manufacturing defect. In any event, it developed a hole not long after I started using it. Besides that major defect, it was easy to use, especially the rotating ends. But it reduced flow and pressure compared to a regular 5/8" hose.
I purchased this in May, used it twice and it's already sprung a leak. The worst part is that it is just past the 90 return policy. It is total trash. I have had the the expandable hoses that have lasted multiple years and thought this would be better but clearly was terribly wrong. I would not recommend this to anyone. Would have given a "0" if I could
Bought two sets - one for my front yard, and one for my back yard. The good: light weight, easy to tighten the connector and not have to deal with hose being twisted. The hose is soft prior to water being turned on, so it looks shorter than the length specified, but as soon as you turn on the water, it stretched. Ok, now to the bad and the urgly: 15 min of usage, my back yard hose popped! What a dissappoinment. The hose broke in middle - looked like the inner tube either damage before, our could not handle the water pressure. Front yard hose is still ok, after more than a week now. But still, 50% instant death, is not recommended at all
I bought this twice, first one leaked damage thought ok, exchanged it and the second one also leaked. I made sure that there were no kinks or bins or folds it was perfectly straight and still sprung leaks:(. Return to second time and will try some other brand.
I am very unhappy with this product. It began leaking the second time I used it. The leak isn't where the fittings attach. Its in the middle of the hose. I'd rather patch than bother with a return but I have no idea how to patch something like this. The outter cover hides the leaking membrane. And it is not a trickle. Its a fountain spewing from the middle of my hose. Such a disappoint. My last hose was from Big Lots and it lasted 15 years. You don't always get more when you pay more. Lesson learned.
this hose sprang a leak within 2 weeks!! thats a record for me!! i had it out by my garden, so not even on gravel. My husband repaired it saying that it is very cheap under the outer covering...who knew
