My old one burned out so I purchased another one. I use the bug zapper indoors. It takes care of the little black flies, moths, bigger flies and mosquitoes that manage to get into the house. A lot of the time it zaps and you don't see the bug.
With a radius that exceeds your normal needs to attract every day mosquitoes from your home or backyard this zapper does an incredible job of being on high alert and electrocuting any kind of mosquitoes and no see ums in a zap. t will get your job done in no time and bring you calmness with out having to be constamtly sla[[ing your body parts beause of the bitting insects. Highly recommend it and little to no maintenance other than changing the light bulb when it goues out.
a bit challenging to fit prongs into fittings, but once it was in, it worked as it should. my last bulb lasted 4 yrs with continuous in home use!
Unplug it and open the bottom and hose it out the dead bugs are nasty. It will come clean but let it dry out before plugging it back in.
I have bought a lot of these bug zapper tubes, and the only one that lasts for years is the original Black Flag tube, That also goes for the Black Flag base unit they go in, which I have NEVER had a failure other than the tube, which is a great deal more than I can say for their competitors, most of which have base unit failures, other than the tube, in less than a year! Buying cheap copies is penny wise, and pound foolish! Not to mention the hassle of constant replacement. No, I don't work for black flag!
Nice works perfectly
3 ⭐️ because they work unlike the original Black Flag 15watt bulbs that came with the ⚡️ Black Flag zapper originally, 3 months and puff 💨 stops working, ordered another to replace the unit because the bulbs weren't available and returning anything is like a death sentence for anyone in a handicapped position or disabled… “just return it to any Walmart”. Is not always favorable for someone crippled… my take on black flag recent quality control problems.. zapper used to last years… gone are those days
I have purchased these before, both over the internet and at various stores. It does what it does, reasonably well. The octenol chemical mosquito lures snap on to the outside of the cage. They, like the 15-watt replacement bulbs, are a little pricey, and sometimes hard to find at stores. Mosquitoes, gnats, fruit flies, etc. seem to be attracted to the bug zapper. I have also seen them completely ignore it, but I have seen this with almost every device made by every manufacturer.. There are a lot of foreign made plug-in and battery powered devices that are similar. Most of these seem to work very poorly, even though they are cheaper.

It only works for a month. After that, the color changed to dark yellow and dark grey, and then it started to keep blinking. This was my second replacement bulb. I'll have to purchase the new unit instead of replacing the bulb.
