Impressed with this Bug Zapper. It was packed very well and the quality far surpassed my made in China expectations. It is doing the job well, just requires a daily hosing off of the debris. Texas sun charges it quickly, can supplement with USB connection when necessary.
I recently purchased this zapper and I'm very impressed with the build. You can tell it's made with good construction—it feels sturdy and durable. The UV light is excellent and much brighter than other models I've tried. It looks great on my patio and adds a nice high-tech feel to the outdoor space. I'm very happy with the overall quality and design!
I've been using this solar bug zapper in my backyard, and it does a decent job reducing insects in the area, especially during the evening. It's helpful for patios or outdoor gatherings where bugs can be an issue. The dual power option is convenient. Solar charging works well on sunny days, and having the backup USB charging is useful when sunlight is limited. The automatic on/off feature at dusk is also a nice touch, so it doesn't require constant attention. Setup is simple, and I like that it can be placed in different ways depending on the space. The build feels solid enough for outdoor use, and it has held up fine with exposure to weather so far. In terms of performance, it works best for general bug reduction rather than completely eliminating insects, especially in larger areas. Cleaning the unit is manageable but does require occasional maintenance. Overall, It's a practical and low-maintenance option for helping control bugs outdoors without using sprays.
Honestly I was a little confused about my purchase Cuz I've seen a lot of bug zapper going around and this one has blown my mind. I have sat outside for over 15 minutes watching the bugs come and get zapped, I don't know what it does, but it calls the bugs.its crazy how powerful the bug zapper really is and it works on solar power, and if it needs to be charged cause you don't have enough,Sun you can do that too its a 100 in my box. I promise you if you want to hang out side and don't like bugs this bug zapper is for you and it work for up to an acre of land.
Finally, a solar zapper that actually has enough power to do the job. I was tired of tripping over extension cords with my old plug-in unit. This one gives me the freedom to place it anywhere in the yard where the bugs are worst. The UV light is a cool blue and very bright. It's been running strong for two weeks now. It's a must-have if you have a large yard or patio area.
This item was exactly what I needed, and I'm so glad I was able to find it! It works perfectly and does exactly what it's supposed to. The price was great, making it an even better purchase. Overall, I'm very happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable item at a good value.
Pick is after first night use in northern CA. Got it put together with less than 4 hours of light left, was still running strong on 'auto' mode before sunrise. Plenty of frying power, voltage. Lights are visible at night. Runs all night long. Ground stakes are nice and stable, get over 25mh winds/gusts, it did fine. Nice fit on the poles, snug. Multiple modes, portability, USB charging, large fry grid and even an extension cord if you want to move the solar cell up on a roof. Practical, and I figure the purchase cost is less than running a corded version for 9 months.
There is no solar indicator to shiow battery life. Ad says can be used in daylight. Nope. Ad says it attracts flies for 1/2 acre? Not a single fly was attracted to it in a livestock field overnight. Tired of Walmart lying about reviews being good
Stopped working a few months into using it. I paid for insurance but waiting to hear back from the seller. So far bad customer service. This should last a few summers, at least one for the price.
The product worked very well every afternoon for about 1 hour after that the battery would die and that was it. Left it in direct sun light for 3 days to make sure it was fully charged and the same thing happened. returned it.
