What else can I say? Follow directions, don't spray it in your face (even accidentally), and walk backwards spraying in front of you as you make your way from the furthest point back to the water spigot. Easy. Ticks are dead. Done deal. Great price, fast shipping. Am I missing anything? Oh yeah -- Ticks are dead.
I had found out after a month of using, that the product was no longer killing fleas! So I called the company up and they told me about Black Flag Yard Treatment 2 Upon moving in the country with dogs on a farm that had not been used in a while, in cleaning up and tearing down some old buildings we must have stirred up some dormant flea nests, upon other things. Well that was the start of how to kill the fleas. After a month of using the old triazacide granules and a host of natural solutions, I finally realized that the triazacide was no longer effective. Upon the recommendation to use Black Flag with Nylar, I immediately got some and started spraying my large yard. Within a few days, we had some relief and finally felt like we were going to overcome this. I also use BifenIT as a border spray (not used as a broadcast yard application and does NOT kill immediately, but great for home perimeters, porches etc) We had 7 yellow jacket nests as well throughout this ordeal which bifenIT will treat. I can say that Black Flag did work well and better after a few days. I ramped it up and combined indoor spraying carpets/pet beds etc with Raid indoor spray, flea comb/grooming/bathing and that seemed to finish it off. I continued to use Black Flag every 2 weeks to break the cycle in conjunction with the other methods. This is a full time job. Black Flag certainly kills a host of insects - something I felt bad about since none were an issue except the flea infestation. I will say that any damp old landscaping wood or any wet wood is a must to remove as well as keep short grass. After 3 yard treatments using Black Flag we finally have so few now. From mid July to mid September, my dogs are finally able to run about and not get eaten up. I went into all these details because it is very hard to rid of fleas . Got to hit these bugs from all angles. Great product and NO issues with myself or pets when used properly.
It was easy to use and the spray covered a large area. Three days counting and no ticks! I trust black flag products and the items arrived sooner than expected.
I know there are mixed reviews but I decided to try it since the company has other products that work for me. I followed the instructions and everything worked well and helped my problem area get back to normal
I had a really bad back yard flea infestation summer 2018. I had a dog and 2 cats and was fighting the "worst ever" indoor flea infestation: the usual treatment of borax didn't work, so I mixed borax with diatomaceous earth and salt... and spread it liberally -- no luck. I hate poisons, but I bombed my foster cat's room TWICE, with no improvement. My senior dog was on Nexgard, but it wasn't working (fleas must take a blood meal from the animal to be killed). I started noticing that within minutes of putting my poor dog down in the yard, he would be covered in 10 or so VISIBLE fleas -- which means more were buried in his coat. I new the yard had to be the key to the problem. I had read up on the active ingredients and I THINK that people who are claiming that it didn't work PERHAPS did not use it correctly. From my reading the fine print, I'd learned that DIRECT SUNLIGHT DESTROYS THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT. So, I waited until the sun was no longer shining on my back yard, then working from the outer perimeter slightlyy overlapping the sprayed area as I worked my way backward to my patio (and left a narrow path to the outdoor spigot so I could turn it off). The next day, as soon as the grass was dry, I did "the white sock walk" into the middle of the yard... not a single flea.
Worked well. Enough to cover the yard, both front and back. Would definitely purchase again, but hopefully will never need it again.
My order was good and on time
Sprayed my yard, still have some left over, easy to connect to water hose
Helps keep ticks down in yard. I use it two ,month's apart for protection
I believe it is working. Its been a week since I sprayed the yard and I think our dogs scratch themselves less.
