I've used a cpl different washer cleaners and they all seem to still leave the mildew smell. HOWEVER, this product really does a DEEP clean! My washer smells AMAZING and it's crazy the residue it pulls out and leaves in the drum. All I do is a quick wipe to get the residue out, then start a load of clothes! It smells SOOO fresh and clean!!

this works amazingly for my washer, since i wash a lot of loads every other day. it says to use one every 4 months but i usually use them once a month, just to keep my washing nice and fresh smelling. it soaps up your washing machine good and works even better using hot water. (so keep this in mind) I've never been so pleased with a product that does what it supposed to do!!!

My new washer even tells me it is time to clean it. Great feature, but what to use. This is the best ever product. I have tried several others, trust me...this one wins. I used afresh washing machine cleaner for years, I ran out and this was the only one that was available at the time. It really deep cleaned my washing machine so I made the switch not only was it less expensive. In my opinion it cleaned the washing machine a lot better just give it a try you won't be disappointed.

never tried tide washing one before and I use tide in my washer so I figured it would be a good product. And it was. Just tried it yesterday, cleaned my washer very nicely and smells great.;) I had a different brand that I got with my washing machine.

I was really hoping this would work, especially after mostly great reviews but it did not. I went exactly by the instructions but still smelled musty, so I ran another a couple hours later, still musty. I ran two more and finally used up all four packets, musty smell not as strong but still there. No clue what to do now, guess I'll try another brand or try the vinegar and baking soda, when this happened last year that's what ended up getting rid of the smell after 3 vinegar and baking soda cycles
