The ECOS Plant power dish soap cut through grease just like it says, my hands still feels soft just like it says, I didn't notice any drying on my hands while using the product at all. It suds as it's supposed to which to me is a good thing because some of the products that are like this don't suds up as much and this one had no problems setting up and letting me know it was working. How could you go wrong this product is family owned and operated. There's only nine ingredients in the soap itself and it's a climate positive company. I mean to me that's everything! It's dish soap plus so many more benefits!
ECOS Non-Toxic Hypoallergenic Dish Soap works well cleaning my dishes. It cleans stuck on food and grease as well as other detergents I've tried but with added bonuses. I like that the product is non-toxic and free of dyes. It is not harsh on my skin.
This dish soap does a good job. Used as directed it will clean a greasy skillet with no problem at all. As with any soap it works better in hot water. I did all the dinner dishes and still had suds in the sink when I was done. I think we all need to do what we can to help the planet, so we don't go extinct. This product is one more small step toward that goal.
The Ecos hypoallergenic plant powered dish soap is ok. I like the fact that it's clear, and I like that it is hypoallergenic. Not having harmful chemicals is always a good thing, although it does have preservatives in it, which makes perfect sense when you think about it. This product conforms to the Safer Choice EPA standard, which basically just means it uses ingredients that are safer for people and the environment. Made in the USA, gotta love that. As for how well it works, like I mentioned before, it's ok. It's kinda thin, and it doesn't suds up as well as some other dish soaps. In this case you can make a choice, something that is safer for the environment, and you might have to use a little more product, or something traditional that might not be as good for the environment. That is a choice you can make with this product. As far as cleaning is concerned, it works just fine. You just may have to use a little more soap than you're accustomed to, and it has no scent, which I prefer. I am rating this product 4 stars. There is always something to be said for a product that is better for the environment if it works.
Scent free soap dispenses quickly, washes fast and squeaky clean. I do not know if it was my sponge or the lightweight of the soap however I did need to continue to rinse and re-add soap for optimal clean. I also found out that I did not have to rush to lotion my hands immediately afterward!
This dishwashing detergent works pretty well, unless you have crusted items or items that have grease. It does not cut through grease very well, I did have to pull my Dawn out for things like that. It smells nice, like aloe vera, and it is easy on the hands. It does not lather as well as regular dish detergent probably because it's organic. For normal day-to-day washing it works great. However if you have those hard to scrub or greasy items it does not work as well as one would like.
I received this dish soap in exchange for my honest feedback. First off, I live that's it's dye free, who doesn't lol second I love that's the bottle is recycled plastic, third I love that it's not tested on animals and fourth that it's simple ingredients and a great company. The ONLY down side to this soap, is it will not suds properly, no matter how much you use! I ended up adding a concentrated dish soap to it so it won't go to waist. Other than that I love it
This doesn't even lather up, can't even was my dishes!! I have to order another brand!! First day using and used almost half bottle and the suds went away in minutes of adding dishes to water!!!
First thing upsetting about this soap is the beautiful label (Made in USA), but it isn't, well maybe the bottle. Dont label it "Made in USA" when it wasn't, you lose all trust with me It has a slight hint of an alcohol smell and it barely suds up when using to wash my hands let alone for dishes, and it doesnt cut grease like my daily brand. If you're looking for something to clean your fry pan after cooking some chicken thighs or that casserole dish after some lasagna, then you'll probably be disappointed. I've even used it to wash my hands but again with great disappointment. As for the ingredients used, please do your homework, because this is just about one of the listed ingredients If a company is not using "real soap" and its product foams and lathers then it must be using some other type of lathering agent (detergent surfactant). My question is—what type of surfactant is being used in place of soap? Chances are the company is using one of the many, many cousins of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. One common substitute these days is Sodium Coco Sulfate. It is true that Sodium Coco Sulfate does help create lather. It can be made from coconuts (it can also be made from palm oil). And yes, it is used as a cleansing agent in a product in place of a natural surfactant--like soap. However, Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS), like sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), is another synthetic detergent, a synthetic surfactant that creates lots of foamy lather and removes oil and grease but is NOT a soap. I simply believe that companies that brand and market themselves as "natural" should not be using synthetic surfactants in their personal care products under the guise that the starting material of the ingredient is of plant origin (like coconuts). The final product can then be marketed as plant-derived and appears more natural to the consumers.
Compared to Dawn, my normal liquid dish detergent, this ECOS dish soap is substandard. It barely cuts grease, doesn't lather up on my hands, and doesn't have a pleasant clean soap smell. I would not purchase this dish soap again and love using Dawn.
