Black, Rust-Oleum Stops Rust, Rust Reformer Flat Spray Paint- 215215, 10.25 oz

Repainted multiple pieces of outside furniture with this paint. While it's more than other cans because my furniture was vintage, I went with this to cover any rust. I believe the furniture is worth the extra expense. Goes on easy and has that classic matte black look.

I am presently restoring a Classic Automobile that has some surface rust in areas I cannot get to easily. I wire brushed the area as much as possible then coated it with the Rust Reformer. It turns the rust into a paintable surface and I can be certain it wont come back after I paint it. I've used it for other jobs as well and it works.

Great coverage, solid base coat and gives rust protection too. Don't have to use acid to oxidize the rust.

I recommend this product. coverage was great.

My mailbox is set into a brick structure, so refinishing is much easier than replacement. Rust-Oleum made it look great!

Excellent alternative to covering up rust on my outdoor railing. I recently noticed my front porch railing was rusting and peeling. I used a metal wire brush along with this spray paint and it's like new.

I rented a house that had a rusty ceiling lamp and radiators. It works great and it's easy to paint over. Just make sure you cover everything as it's black and will stain.

Rust -oleum lives up to it's name. It does exactly what it states it will do and you can get it in many colors. You don't need to worry that the rust will come back, I can attest to that. I've used it many times.

Walmart fulfillment was fine. I have probably had 50 spray nozzles clog on me over time. The new 5 in 1 nozzle has worked better to reduce flow %26 overspray and give me additional chances if a clog. Sprayed the reformer on non-fluffy rust and it helps for a couple months but the rust wins every time. Have not found regular paint to perform worse or better except they now have the better 5 in 1 nozzles. Have not found Krylon to be any better. For better results, still have to prep steel down to bare metal. It would help if Ford delivered their new F150s non-rusting underneath by requiring all parts to have better paint/coating specs. This is the first of five pickups to have the muffler rusting - others came with better stainless steel. 2016 VW GTi has more miles, more winters and less rust on it than my 2023 F150 or 2019 CX-5. So, wire brush and try each of the rubberized, this reformer and their paint to slow the rust.
