BLACK+DECKER 2-Slice Extra Wide Slot Toaster, Red/Silver, TR1278TRM

Used it for the 1st time this evening, so far I can't find anything I DON'T like about it. Haven't tried the "Frozen" feature yet but I'm looking forward to a Pillsbury Toaster Strudel this weekend for breakfast. Love the drop down crumb tray, very convenient. And the Bagel feature is much appreciated by all family members!!

This toaster is sleek, lightweight but powerful. seven timed shade settings and special functions for bagels and frozen items. The toasting slots are very wide which is great for larger slices of bread or bagels. Ita also got a drop down crumb tray on the bottom which makes clean-up super easy. I would highly recommend.

This toaster is a great stand out item that makes the kitchen pop! Easy to use and simple controls as far as a toaster goes. Wide slot makes it handy for larger pieces of bread or waffles. It has a bagel button as well as a frozen button thats handy as well. The red and stainless steel look great together. The buttons itself are plastic, which keeps down on fingerprints. It does a great job at toasting, just like it is supposed too. Black and Decker always makes good solid products, and this toaster continues that trend. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting and attractive, value priced toaster.

BLACK+DECKER 2-Slice Extra Wide Slot Toaster is an amazing product! The design is very sleek and modern looking, so it will look nice in any kitchen. It looked great in mine. There are specific controls for specific things you are toasting, like bagels, and frozen items like waffles. I really love this feature, because it lets me get the best results for what I am toasting. The toasting slots are super wide WHICH IS SO GREAT!!! You can put any size bread in it, or any other things you would toast, and it would still work fine. There’s a lever that gives extra lift to the item being toasted so you don’t burn yourself. Also, there’s a crumb tray which is actually super useful, efficient, and convenient. Plus the color is beautiful!!!!I really enjoy this product!

I have used the same toaster for 20 years or more and it is tired. I was excited about a larger opening but it is only 2mm wider. It would make a difference with a bagel and it has a bagel setting. It also has a setting for frozen which I look forward to testing with frozen potato patties. This toaster is quite a bit lighter than my old one. I set the control to the setting I used in the past, one mark pass the middle. Perfect toast and evenly done, no lines that indicate where the heat was. I am very happy with this toaster, and it is attractive on the counter.

The color is beautiful. Wiping off with a dry cloth keeps the toaster looking like new. The bread toasts great without drying out. The dial selector is great since I want my bread dark or light depending upon my meal. I really love the Cancel function. Sometimes I just want my bread warm and not toasted at all. Also great is the bagel feature. This will toast the bagel on the inside but not burn the outside of the bagel. I love the lever when the bread is done because if you have a smaller slice of bread you can push the lever up more to take out the bread. In my old toaster I would have to "dig" down in the toaster to get some things out. I am not comfortable defrosting items in the toaster but I will try this out soon. Great toaster for a great price.

Received this about a week ago. Really like the Brand Name and Red is the perfect color. This is a very simple to use toaster. It is a 2 slice toaster with extra wide slots, so you can toast Texas Toast, or a bagel. It has 7 shades to toast bread. An extra button just for a bagel, and also an extra button for something that is frozen like Waffles or Pancakes. The family loves it. One Toaster that does multiple items, looks good, and works perfectly. I give this toaster 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone!

I had purchased an Oster toaster recently and it was BAD. I had to toast everything on high at least 6 times to get it even a little brown. I will NEVER buy Oster again. The Black and Decker toasts perfectly the first time. I love it!

Works great I have always trusted black and Decker so it was an easy choise. Shipping and handling was free but the time it took to be shipped took almost two weeks

I ordered for 88 year old Mother and sent to her home Toaster lever would not stay down. She now has to return to walmart and make a trip I tried to save her since she doesn't get out much. It was very disturbing . I love B&D products and have never had a problem until now
