BLACK+DECKER 4-Slice Toaster Oven, Stainless Steel, TO1705SB

This is a fine toaster oven for the money. I bought it to replace the identical one I had (still worked fine) that was the same brand and model. I just like my counter appliances to be clean, shiny and new, especially when it doesn't cost much. So, for me it was worth buying twice!

It is a wonderful toaster oven, had to read directions to make sure we used it properly. Very sturdy and works great. Nice looking and easy to use after reading directions.

I love black and decker. I always buy their small appliances because they last long. My toasters last a couple of years before I replace them. Ive never had to replace them because they stopped working, I just love the look of new items. Will always buy black and decker toaster ovens.

This toaster over is not too big or too small serves just the right size and purpose for the home. My sister moved into her new apartment and so I wanted to bless her with useful yet not too gigantic appliance and so once i came across this one- it fits the criteria and so I purchased it and I'm glad I did.

I have had this toaster for about one month now. This is the most evenly toasting toaster I have ever owned. It has a smell that you have to cook off before first use, put it outside and cycled a few times and sacrificed two pieces of bread for the break in. Since then; the bestest favorite toaster I have ever owned.

The control for toasting is a timer with pictures of toast indicating the doneness of your toast. There is a dial to set on or near the desired color of the the bread. The pictures are close together and it isn't easy to judge how you want the toast to come out. I do like having a toaster oven, and this one is ok. I just have to watch that the toast doesn't burn.

the controls are too difficult to read and the timer doesn't seem to be accurate. I've burned so many things!! to be honest, i purchased this to replace my large Black and Decker convection oven because the timer in that quit working. we are going back to the larger oven and have a portable timer now. so disappointed!!

The knobs were completely misaligned, very difficult to tell what settings were on making it unsafe to use. The timer knob rests on 20 mins and fully turned says 10 mins. Can't even tell where the temperature knob is supposed to go; it starts at 200 deg and goes counterclockwise to 250 deg. Tried to align them properly but they can only go on in one orientation. Quick shipping and smooth return process, but ultimately the toaster over was not usable.

First of all, why are people describing slots in the reviews when this is a toaster oven? Second, manufactured forgot about the first rule, keep it simple! Why doesn't the oven just start when I turn button. Have to also turn on the bottom button that keeps ticking (???). Cant turn off the ticking, keeps going even when unplugged! Didnt realize toaster ovens became to overdone!

I bought my son that lives in Maryland this toaster oven as a house warming gift for his new condo, the first thing that happened is it came in a box marked coffee maker. I contacted the company to find out where the toaster oven had been and needed answers as to why they sent us a coffee maker rather than a toaster oven, at that point my son did not open the package at all. And the customer service did not even have the common courtesy to get back to me. My son decided that even if it were a toaster oven because of the company being rude and not getting back to me he would return it. after a couple of weeks I reminded him that it had to be returned and to open the outer box anyway just to see if in fact it was a coffee maker. It was the toaster oven and he still decided not to keep it. He physically returned it to a Walmart near his home they told him that it would only be 2 weeks for the refund to come back to me .I have called Walmart twice and they told me that because its a third party seller I would have to wait. Here I am 3 weeks later still waiting for my refund and nothing. I did contact Spectrum and still no response. Its very unprofessional not to respond to a customer and my question is why are they in business if they wont respond? Please read who the seller is, and ordering from Walmart directly is your best bet. Thank you for reading my review.
