Was damage upon delivery (occurred before shipping because the shipping container had ZERO damage to it). Bottom was bent below electric plug on the bottom plate, which wouldn't allow it to set level. I had to extend just one leg to level it out. However, everything worked. Overall very pleased with the process of drying clothes and it is very quiet. Small storage space, lint is a little difficult to remove (I used a dryer sheet to help remove from the cotton- like filter). Otherwise, very pleased and would recommend to others.

This is the first time using this type of dryer. I was really skeptical, fearful it would be costly due to the extra running time needed. But now, I'm not so worried. Yes, it takes about 90 to 120 minutes for a load (consisting of about 5 tees, 5 pairs of shorts, undies, wash clothes and a few kitchen towels). I like the process though. Heats quickly and gradually cools to the end. Everything is dried thoroughly. A week's worth of bath towels and hair towels is no problem for one load. I don't think it's any louder than other dryer I've owned. The only thing I don't like is the controls are on a bottom corner of the face. So the dryer has to be elevated for my comfort and convenience.

I chose this because I knew the name, but first mistake. It arrived with a small tear,3", in cardboard, otherwise seemed well packaged. It has a slight long indentation along left side toward back. When it tumbles it hits the side. It is louder than I expected. Inadequate instructions. I will have to hire someone to try to repair it before I can use it. I would return it to a local store but it is too large to fit in my car. I would return it to shipper except the cost is astronomical. Won't know how it works drying clothes until it is repaired. Big disappointment.

Best Compact Portable Dryer! Our Large dryer went out, so after much research and comparing dryers, we purchased the Black %26 Decker BCED37 Compact Dryer, and we could not be Happier! Once a week, on wash day, we halfway load it, it spins silently, drying everything within 45 minutes to an hour. We used it again yesterday, and we were able to dry a small semi-bulky comforter just under an hour. We opened the dryer a couple times to make sure the comforter dried evenly. This Dryer Saves Space, and Works Beautifully! Extremely Happy with our purchase!

This works for my needs, I did not have the option for a dryer needing a special outlet and I don't have a vent, so this works for my personal needs in my cottage. I try not to load it too full as it does take quite awhile to dry the clothes. I would get a regular dryer if you have the space/option but this works great if you have limitations. I added the vent hose that goes into a canister of water and it works great

A dryer is always recommended! I like the size as my place is small. Ive had it about 3 months now and early on i thought it broke down, it wasnt giving hot air making my cloths take hours to dry ultimately running up my electricity, and also wouldnt shut off on "off" at one point. Later learned it was because the knob came loose as i push the dryer from one side of the room to the next for use/storage and also because the save feature had been triggered which gives off cool air even if the knob is on the red(hot) numbers. Overall it doesnt dry as quick as a laundromat dryer would, but it gets the job done. Also feel like some items shrunk a bit.

It had two dents one on each lower back side . It functions fine but i think that the fact that it was dented is suspect since it came in a solid protection box. I feel it must have been packaged with the dents already in it. It works fine so i'm not going through the trouble of repackaging and sending it back. But I'm displeased and think the company should have more quality control.

I have tried to contact the seller for 2 weeks via phone calls DAILY , voicemails , emails , and even had Walmart email but to no avail. This is the third dryer that I am on due to malfunctioning and I can't even get anyone to respond ! Walmart advised me to contact my financial institution to do a complaint on the charge from AUGUST OF 2025! So what about it my manufacturer warranty?! This is my third dryer, they will work do a couple of months and then just stop working/coming on.

I was excited to receive the dryer, but after the second use of this dryer, it started to rattle. It wouldn't dry the clothes fully, and it started, and then it stopped then it started, and then it stopped, and it still did not dry the clothes completely.

I only had the dryer for 6 days. It started squeaking, then a loud grinding sound started. I emptied the dryer and noticed the drum looked like it was struggling to turn. Luckily, I was only 6 days in. I returned it right back to my local Walmart. I'm not gonna tell you to not buy it. Mine may have just been defective. I do recommend doing a lot of drying just so you'll know early on if the machine is messed up. I did at least 12 cycles in 6 days. If you do buy it, you'll have to buy the dryer hose. It's not included.
