I used it to extend a diesel heater pipe and it works all right for that. The dryer vent pipe was bigger diameter than the pipe on the diesel heater so I packed fiberglass packing around the diesel heater duct and it worked fine for what I wanted it for.

Item worked well with installation crew implementing installation. I would recommend but, as a precaution, check and examine dryer vent exhaust prior to purchase.

Last dryer duct was on for 30 years and way overdue for replacement. Nice to have a new one. Clamps were a bit difficult to squeeze and slide onto dryer. I used a cloth so as to not hurt my fingers. I don't think it will come off easy. 👍

Purchasd the GE appliance dryer foil exhaust hose online. So much more afforable than anywhere else. Top quailty, fit %26 size are perfect, even came with 2 clamps. Recommend and will buy again.

The included clams are important, because using a worm gear style hose clamp on this type of hose wouldn't result in a tight seal. These clamps fit between the spiral wire in the hose and seal tightly.

I bought it as a replacement for my daughter's dryer. No adjustment was needed, just attach it to the dryer and to the wall vent . It came earlier than expected. I recommend it.

Best price I could find. Well made and easy to cut to size. You do need a wire cutter. Easy to attach to dryer .Don't know why I waited so long to replace the old one.

Dryer duct was easy to install however, maybe I should have measured because if this is a 4 inch diameter size, I struggled to fit it on my 4 inch dryer wall "outlet" and dyer output. I managed to finagle it on, but it would have been nicer if it would have slipped on without struggling and tearing the duct. Clamps worked well but I would advise you measure the size of your dryer output and the wall "outlet" adapter before committing to this. Also, I don't know what the issue has been with Walmart lately, but this arrived late and this isn't the first time I have had issues with late deliveries.

Full disclosure. my dryer vent is high on our basement wall. if you need a hose for a short distance, this hose is fine. if you need a 6 ft or longer. do not buy this hose. it came up short and i had to rearrange my washer and dryer to get it to connect and it is stretched to the max and we do not have 7 ft ceilings.

Blatant false advertising, the 8 feet advertised only came out to less than 6 feet after full extension of the product. I've been emailing you guys of this matter and i deserve another hose to make up for this lack of 4 feet I had bought two of them and because of this i I'm not able to dry my clothes properly.
