I had no idea how to buy a drill for myself. I wanted to put up some curtains. My husband said I needed to buy a battery for the old drill we had. They don't even make those anymore. I went with this one. It has some great features. It has a light, and a way to pick what you are drilling. It comes with the bit. All you have to do is open and close the chuck. It charged fairly quickly. I put up the curtains. But, my husband, had to redo it. I missed the stud entirely. I even had a stud finder.
Absolutely amazing drill that takes all the guess work out of a simple task. This drill has quite a bit of torque for it's small size and its planty fast enough (RPM Wise). The light is a great touch. I heard Black and Decker might be discontinuing this drill, but I hope they don't as it's worth it. great all-around drill!
This was one of the first tools I got while still renting. Have been using this drill for about 15 years and is still my first grab for repairs. Build deck, storage shed and several repairs over that time both here and at friends. Still a workhorse. Have about 45 tools/outdoor tools that run on the 20v system and about 18 batteries and no problems yet.
I bought this to replace a really old drill/driver. It's much smaller than the one I had before and has better features. So far it is doing the job.
He already has this one and loves it and wanted another one so he can have one to drill, and one to screw screws in without have to keep changing each time.
Very happy with it. It's light weight yet plenty powerful.
When I bought this I said to myself this AutoSense is a gimmick but to my surprise it actually works well! It's voodoo magic makes dill stop just as screws become flush, if you want to sink a bit under then give a quick squeeze. Drill has plenty of power, battery has good length, drill is much lighter than my last 18V drill and the AutoSense is the icing on the cake. I have yet to find anything I dislike about this drill.
I bought this drill in June of 2014 to replace a 1991 Skill 12 volt drill and it still works great. The auto sense is great and stops just as screws become flush and if you want to sink them a bit lower, just give the trigger a quick squeeze and it turns the screw about 1/4 of a turn at a time. The drill has plenty of power, the battery lasts a long time on a single charge and is much lighter than my last drill.
This is a powerfull but light drill/ driver that I can use with ease!
Bought this about a month ago, for light work around the house. Used it several time and it works good.
