They call it a Light Driver, but to me it is my “side Kick” Driver. I like the fact that it has a light on it so I can use it whether it is dark or a lighted area. This drill is equipped with forward and reverse action so that you can work any screw in as well as take one out. There is a storage that slides below the drill so that you can have access to extra drill bits or even screws that you are using at the time. Comes with its own charger easy to plug and charge. Also comes with drill bits as well as screws & studs/screw holders. You can use this straight from the drill to the bits or they also have included an extension which allows you the opportunity reach deeper slot areas. The other thing that I like about this extension is that it allows you to not only hold the side-kick with the ergonomic handle but use the other hand to secure your drilling holding closer to your screw for better support and help you put better presser when securing a screw to its platform. I like that the size of this side kick is perfect for smaller jobs like putting up blinds, base boards, trim and even working on anything like a door knob, cabinet doors or a desk. I strongly recommend for small jobs especially in home projects. It is not equipped for drilling, I would have like to have seen that feature, but other than that it is well worth having for the mentioned jobs above.
I charged this up and thought it wouldn't have any power, but to my amazement it does! My boyfriend thought it was a toy when I first showed it to him. It's very small and lightweight, perfect size for women, and perfect for doing at home projects. I love the light that is built in to shine on the job, the tips are magnetic, so no dropping the screw before you can get it started. And it came with understandable directions and screws to get started on a job. The little tool case fits on the bottom. Very handy so it doesn't get lost. But with arthritic hands, I did find it difficult to take off and open up the case. I just put up a 3 screw coat rack by myself and it was no problem at all. I would highly recommend for the person who has lightweight projects and maintenance and doesn't want to wield a heavy power driver. I will definitely be keeping this in my tool drawer and it will eventually get a lot of use.
I am so happy I chose this. This is the perfect lightweight tool for every day household jobs. Light enough to be used by a small person, or someone who is disabled too. I have Arthritis and my hands cannot control anything heavy. I found this extremely easy to use compared to my standard size rechargeable drill. And no heavy battery to buy separately, have to charge and then attach. I also loved the added feature of a LED light built in so no need to have to hold a flashlight with your mouth while you use your other two hands to do a job in a tight space, poor light, or in the dark. Its also good to keep in the kitchen tool drawer, close on hand, because of its petite size. Made by Black and Decker it comes with 6 common sized, standard bits, a few screws and fasteners, a screw drive guide, and the cord to recharge. A small compartment to hold the attachments can be fastened to the bottom of the drill or not. A nice option. Its barely heavier then my Dremel tool. Thank you Walmart for allowing me the opportunity to try this item.
The Black+Decker BDCSFS30C Storage Foot Screwdriver is a really handy tool to have. The different bits and pieces are in a clear storage compartment that connects to the bottom. It makes it so much easier than having to fumble through a tool box just to change to a different screwdriver. I love that it has a light on it so I am able to see in dark places that need a small repair. The top is magnetic so no worries able dropping the screws. It's not really good for big projects as it is not that powerful. It is great for small fix-its. You can hang pictures, surge protectors or anything else on the wall with ease. It comes with the charger and 31 bits, anchors and screws also a screw drive guide. The screwdriver has a 180 RPM motor and a 4 volt lithium ion battery that takes about 8-12 hours to fully charge if the battery is almost completely drained. I did not use long enough to totally use all the battery power up. It is very lightweight weighing under 2 pounds. I would recommend the Black & Decker storage foot rechargeable screwdriver to anyone looking for a small project cordless screwdriver including my friends and family.
The Black and Decker BDCSFS30C Storage Foot Screwdriver has proven to be a very handy tool for every day jobs around the house. It's small compact size makes it very convenient for getting into tight places that in many cases, would not be accessible with a larger screwdriver. It has a 4 volt max lithium ion battery. The independent flashlight function also has been extremely useful and on several occasions eliminated the need for extra lighting. It is quite bright. This tool has a surprising amount of power for a 4 volt unit and the lithium ion battery is long lasting and easily rechargeable. The onboard storage pack is really nice to have to keep all the parts in one place. It simply slides onto the bottom of the unit. It comes with 31 pieces of accessories in the storage box, which include the bits, screws, wall anchors and a drive guide that you will need to do your jobs. It has phillips and flathead screwdriver bits. It comes with a 2 year limited warranty and a 30 day money back guarantee. This screwdriver is made in China. This screwdriver appears to be well designed and well made and should provide many years of service. Overall, I was quit impressed with the Black and Decker Storage Foot Screwdriver and I would recommend it for small to medium jobs around the house.
I am blown away by this driver. It is a compact ,powerful driver. The storage "case" on the handle is perfect for any home project. The bits , etc. are stored in the "case" and easily accessed. It is easy to use because the design, etc. is like a larger drill. The light is an added plus for this driver. I have used the driver to tighten loose screws and add new screws to hang pictures. It is so easy with this light driver. I have already recommend it to my friends. GET ONE for your handy home projects !!!
This tool helps with anyone who has an issue with working a screwdriver or not. The light feature makes this with a shadowed area and the different tips make it useful for most jobs. I got this to review for Wal-Mart and now I'm not sure how I went without it.
I chose this B&D STORAGE FOOT SD SIDEKICK, to go along with my little toolbox that my hubby fixed up for me so I'd have my own tools whenever I need to fix or repair something if he's not around. I find this little drill to be very handy, and it fits well in my hand, without being too heavy. It works very well! I haven't used it enough to run the battery down yet, so I don't know yet how long the battery holds its power. I really do like this B&D STORAGE FOOT SD SIDEKICK tho! To me, this is a woman's drill lol. Especially if you have weak hands such as I do with RA, so this drill foots the bill nicely! I'm sure anyone else would like it too.
Today I'm looking at the B&D STORAGE FOOT SD SIDE KICK. When given the opportunity to test this product I thought to myself what a wonderful tool to have for my small projects. Convenient- First off, my arms and wrist are not very strong, so it's an absolute pain when having to use a traditional screwdriver. With the B&D it is lightweight and sits perfectly in my hand easing any discomfort, pain and making it easy to grip. I really like the storage compartment below the foot, it's big enough to hold a fair amount of screw and bits, but best of all it helps to eliminate frustrations from dropping screws, bits or when I need more than one type. (I can't stand when I have to stop in the middle of work just to climb down the ladder and grab replacement screws.) Power- Now, from personal experience this screwdriver is going to be for small/light projects such as hanging pictures, fixing toys and assembling small furniture. For instance, I was able to assemble the stand I use to hold my baby accessories (shown in the picture) with the B&D Side Kick, however, when I tried to use it to mount some brackets on the wall, once the screw hit the stud the driver stopped; the screwdriver did not appear to have the strength/power to complete the job. Overall, it's a good little tool to have handy when you want to quickly knock out some small projects on your to-do list.
The item in question is quite a unique little drill driver. It works well in tight places and fits well in your hand. The accessory pack comes with quite a few bits and screws. The small philips bit works well for electronics and battery compartments. The little light on the driver is more than bright enough to see no matter what the surrounding light is. The 4 volt lithium battery has enough torque to do most of your light duty assembly and disassembly. the battery also lasts longer than expected. I would recommend this item.
