120V Hedger that's powerful and easy to operate

I purchased this model to replace an older model. 16" Deluxe Trimmer. I nicked the blade on some metal decorative fencing while trimming some Azelia's. This model is an upgrade from my old one and works fantastic and so easy to assemble. Recommend to any homeowner who wants to get the job done.

This trimmer cuts the trimming time in half compared with a 16" B+D trimmer. It is able to cut bigger branches of about 3/4" diameter without using the sawblade. The sawblade is able to saw up to 1.5" diameter but it takes a long time to do the cut. Overall, a nice improvement over the previous product.

With shrubs and bushes getting out of hand, it was time to upgrade from hand clippers. This was a good decision for both price and features. The power and ease of use were better than expected. The saw tip was a little bit of a challenge to get used and would not include that as a pitfall. Looking forward to a serviceable life.

I bought this B & D Hedge Trimmer a month ago and, although I've only used it once, I like it. It's light and easy to handle, but still powerful enough to cut shrubbery limbs cleanly. My neighbor saw me using it and asked if she could borrow it. She also said it worked great.

Used the 20" electric hedge trimmer for several days immediately after purchase. Cuts smoothly even through thick Virginia Creeper vines, but did not test on the full 3/4" rating. I purchased the 20" rather than a longer one for lighter weight and ease of handling for which it turned out to be superior. Love the thumb trigger on this one for safety; my older trimmer would start almost every time I touched it. Only complaint is the useless saw blade; in sweeping with a counterclockwise motion, twigs normally easy to cut get jammed on the inside space between the fixed blade guard and the last cutting tooth. The fixed blade guard should be sharpened on the trimmer side to enable the last cutting tooth to cut.

I purchased this hedge trimmer for small hedges and trees. It is lightweight, easy to handle and reasonably priced. Black & Decker products have proven to be a quality tools. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a solid trimmer for small shrubs and trees.

This hedge trimmer handles the job effortlessly. The Sara feature is an extra benefit if you run into a thicker brunch that needs pruning or removal. Glad I purchased this item.

Package was damaged upon arrival. Soren in multiple places. product looked to have been opened and poorly taped back together.

Love Black and Decker but no this seller. My Black and Decker hedgetrimmer was delivered Dec. 30th, and due to holidays and recovering from a major hurricane, I didn't actually get to pull it out of the box till yesterday. First it smoked for a second then wouldn't turn on. The seller, a third party seller, CPO refused to replace it, refund it OR service it. Walmart even sent them an email asking them to handle this and they refused. The ad said I had 90 days, but the seller said I had 45 days and therefore it was too late. I even explained that it still has the plastic wrap on it!! I really hate when these third party sellers want to be so unreasonable. I was willing to take a replacement, repair or refund, but got nothing..
