BLACK+DECKER BESTA510 - 6.5AMP 14IN ELECTRIC STRING TRIMMER

This item is lightweight with ample power to do the job. What I like the most with black and decker is the parts like spool and caps can be found anywhere at a cheap price.

This is multi person usable. The height adjusts to be comfortable for my 3ft9 grandson to my 6ft3 daughter. It is heavy enough that you don't have to fight the centrifugal force and still light enough for my 80 year old self to use for extended time. The little wheel makes it easy for me to edge the lawn. I also like that I don't have to listen for the motor to change sounds when it needs string extended as it is a bumpless self-feeding unit.

I have used Black and Decker products for years and haven’t had any problems they’re reliable and sturdy and I put them through plenty and they perform above and beyond my expectations I highly recommend Black and Decker products

Black and Decker has always been a great value in price, ease of use and quality for many years. I'm 74, stubborn and insist on doing most things on my own This weed eater keeps me independent and able to keep up my yard with ease!!

This is my second Black %26 Decker trimmer at the past 15 years. Good value for the money. However, as the first one did, the little spring for the automatic string feed feature somehow came off and got lost. Black %26 Decker should design something better for the auto string release. That's why I gave it four stars.

Put it all together and went out to tackle my weeds. After about 35 min of using it, it stopped working! Turns out when tackling long grass, the string cuts it, but the grass follows the string around and around and wraps up around the motor(where you can't reach it to pull it out) and it just stops spinning around, thereby rendering it useless!! It is nothing like the last one I bought that was practically indestructible ! That one lasted almost 9 years!

Tried to return the black and Decker weed eater to be told that it was a third party and NO HELP from Walmart. I wanted the battery-operated weed eater black and decker which would be more money which was okay with me. I will now probably go to Lowes to get the product even if it's more money.

I used it less than 10 minutes and the string housing began to wobble and burnt the plastic motor housing . Returned it to the store , but haven’t been credited . It’s been 14 days waiting for refund .

Terrible product. Eats string for breakfast. 15 minutes and it is gone. NEVER waste your money on this product. The kind you bump is a lot better. This is autofeed and it stinks.

it is flawed with the string feeder, constant repair, buy a sickle, never runs out of string
