I got this portable AC cause the ac in my house went out . Very Ez to setup once setup this unit cooled my hot as heck room down in about 10 mins. it comes with a remote but the remote doesnt come with AAA batteries which is very disappointing after droping 300 dollars on this unit but at the end im satisfied that my room is nice cool
Really a great buy, I am retired and live in a mobil home, and have had a portable air unit (Black Decker) which I moved from the living room to the bedroom as needed, this year I just decided to purchase an additional unit, I am very happy with the result
With these hot summer days, my home air conditioning needs a little assistance, so it’s not running all day and I can focus some cooling in my kitchen when I have to cook for my family. I love the way that it can be easily moved from room to room and packed up in the fall until next season.
I have never written a review about anything in my life but now that I received the wrong package Walmart can’t refund my order and My Home Products LLC hasn’t returned emails or phone calls I now have to go to my bank to dispute the charge.
We believe we got a used product because: - unit has 'hand written' numbers on it (see photo attached below) - unit has many packaging tapes stuck on it here-and-there (see photo attached below) - package did not include any 'registration' paper which one would expect in new unit - it took almost 6 hours to reduce temperature from 85 to 75 in a 10x10' room We will never, never buy any product from this seller. Not sure how they became "pro" seller. Also, looks like Walmart does not verify their sellers, perhaps we will stop buying ANYTHING from Walmart site. Sorry
You can seek the attached photos and see some damage 😥
I wanted to give less than 1 star if I could. The product itself is faulty and generates a lot more water than usual. And the return process isn’t good either. It’s not handled by Walmart and the third party seller doesn’t reply to emails or calls. So you cannot return it since Walmart takes no responsibility for this.
I would give negative stars if I could. I was so excited when it came in read the instructions set it up waited the 24hrs it said to wait. first time I used it it was working good for about 2 hours until around 5pm it made a funny clunking noise and died. Ok that was wierd but it was peak energy time maybe it was some wierd surge from the power company. Turned it back on 15 minutes later work fine. Next turned it on worked fine for 45 minutes then it made that weird clunking sound and turned off. this kept happening. in order to use the system we would have it on for 20 minutes and turn it off for 20 minutes. After a week of having it I shipped it back.
5 months in it no longer heats or cools and is now just a humongous expensive fan. buy at your own risk, make sure you get the protection plan. walmart never honors protection plan until manufacturer warranty is up but it does last longer than manufacturer warranty... headache.
I bought this. Let it sit up right for way over 24 hours. When I went to use it it would turn on for a about 5 minutes and and then the compressor would shut off and blow hot air not cooling down the 192 square foot room I have. I returned this and going to get my money back and get somthing else. I did not pay this money for a AC to blow hot air... yes I did have the AC part on not the heater.
