BLACK+DECKER BD12WT6 Window Air Conditioner 12,000 BTU, Cools up to 550 Square feet, White

This was packed very well came on time ..i turned on for a few mins just to test ...hope this last for years to come %26 cools good this summer!

Very happy with this window air conditioner. It actually is cooling two of our rooms our kitchen and our living room. It is absolutely amazing. It is worth every penny very happy with this unit.

I like the size for my house and works great. Someone must have dropped the AC before it got delivered to me because the compressor is sitting a little tilted and there is a dent on the back.

My delivery record is bad unlike my in store shopping. It works just like it's supposed to, keeping my place very cool, at 65. Very easy to keep the filter clean. It's noisy turning on and off, but it's a keeper.

This A C works great.Definitely needed to replace old window AC we had for many years. It is a noise to get used to,but this is what we needed in this older home. Cools very well, turns off and on as needed after setting desired temperature. T.he directions are easy to understand.The price was very reasonable. Delivered within 3 days definitely helped with the hottest weather we are getting here in Florida.

Item arrived promptly and in excellent condition/packaging intact. The remote controller is ultra sensitive though and selections are a bit difficult and confusing. That said it does work great.

We ordered the air conditioner online. It arrived on time but the outside area has a lot of damaged coils. We haven't plugged it in yet because we are unsure about keeping it with the damage but don't want the hassle of packing it up and hauling it 30 miles to the nearest store.

DO NOT GET DELIVERY. ARRIVED DAMAGED like so many others. Spring on Lyft. If possible I would give 3.5 stars for ease of use, cooling ability, craftsmanship %26 noise. 3 stars because of shipping %26 plastic parts, even vent where air comes out i imagine will snap quickly. Very sad the state of companies nowadays. They take no pride in their items. I'm 43 years old %26 I know that my parents growing up always loved Black %26 Decker but they're not what they used to be. We have a one bedroom one bathroom 250 ft apartment %26 we got the 12,000 BTU air conditioner. based on the btu table it said that we could get one that was 8,000 BTU %26 we have done this in the past, however, I do not believe this to be accurate at all. I recommend at least 10,000 BTUs for a one bedroom one bathroom 250 square foot apartment. It is a bit loud but after you've cooled it down you can put it on lower medium settings %26 this helps with the noise. Additionally, I would not get the warranty because it is covered from Black %26 Decker %26 you can obviously return it if something's wrong with it like anything else so I guess you could do that at your own discretion. but I definitely would recommend getting a lift or a ride in picking it up because many people had a problem with it getting delivered and being dented and damaged in this does happen. it is delivered by FedEx and FedEx does not take care when they're delivering things. if I was not looking out for him then he would have literally flipped it all the way down the walkway to the apartment. I was smart enough to track it, wait at the door %26 coughed, letting him know that I was there %26 then he changed how he was acting and picked it up. But it was dented but does work great. I'm not sure how it is compared to other air conditioners that are 12,000 BTUs but this one is an okay buy, 3.5 stars if possible.

As far as AC unit…it is very good. As far as Walmart using FedEx shipping…NO NOT GOOD!! Took 2 weeks to recieved shipment %26 when I recieved it the box was damaged %26 the AC unit was bent extremely bad! We were having extreme temps in my area %26 had to have air unit the stores in my area didnt have any 14000 units in stock so went ahead %26 put damaged unit in window %26 it did work. Very bad experience all the way around!

It stops cooling and we have to turn it off then turn on to start cooling again
