Lasko Cyclone 18" 3-Speed Oscillating, Remote, Timer, Adjustable Height Pedestal Fan 1843

Overall this fan does the job and works like described, but it seems they are not made sturdy as the used to be. The fan blade/motor is quite noisy with a high pitch sound and the pull nob on back breaks easily. I have to use pliers to change fan oscillation on/off. I thought at first that I just received a defected fan since it was shipped to my home and it maybe got damaged during shipping, but with the two other replacements I am experiencing the same problems.

Unfortunately the fan arrived with the knob broken off that controls whether it oscillates or not, so it only would oscillate. it pushes a lot of air but is noisy at the highest speed. Remote control is a nice feature.

CHEAP!! This is the second one we purchased and both my wife and I grabbed the fan by the guard to move the fan and the guard broke away fron the motor causing the blade to strike the guard. Poor design cheap piece of JUNK

This review is about Walmart, not the fan Never put the fan together because Walmart sent me a used fan. I could tell from the way the box was taped that it had been opened. The fan blade had scratches on it and a couple pet hairs on the blade. The front cover was dirty. Shame on Walmart for shipping a used fan to a customer that paid for a new one.

Found these on sale for $20.99 so ordered. They never sent them then raised price to almost $50 a couple days later. Walmart gave me a refund because it was a 3rd party seller and said they contacted the seller and they would get a hold of me within three business days. Surprised it never happened people like this should go out of business.

A month after we bought this fan it started making noises. Now when you turn it on, the blades go slow and make an awful noise and it will no longer go on high speed.

This 18" Lasko Cyclone Fan blows like an a/c. You can stand it across the room and still feel the air. It was very easy to put together, remote, three speeds, timer, oscillating, rotate up/down, adjustable height and very sturdy. I'm enjoying this fan. The only complaint it was a bit too high for me when I bought it but I needed a new fan.

Love this fan. The only reason it was given 5 stars is the noise it makes. I had read the reviews prior to purchasing the fan, which reviewers had commented on the noise. I have to turn the volume on my TV when fan is on. I first thought it was on high because of the noise, but it was on low. It works well, therefore I do recommend.

This is a great fan. I use it daily because I'm always hot. The fans normally last me about 2-3 years, so I purchase the warranty in case . I've used other Lasko fans including other brands and none of them have worked as good as this one. This is the 4th time I have purchased this fan.

I received my floor fan but it was SHIPPED IN THE SAME BOX the fan came in. WHO DOES THAT? Zero protection from handling during transit! It rattled in the box after getting it. It's easy for me to assemble things but when a vital part that holds it together has STRIPPED THREADING, unless I have a lathe, etc…I can't undue the damage! “LASKO” used to be good but the lack of quality in this floor fan is evident! The LACK of RESPECT for their customers is obvious! This is absolutely junk! The company definitely doesn't care about their products being quality at all!!!
