When I first opened the box, I thought it was kind of cheaply made. Happy to say, I was wrong. Chops everything very quickly. Pulsing is probably the safest to prevent things from being over chopped (mush). The bowl clicks in place easily and just as easy to remove. All the parts fit inside for neat easy storage. I have only washed it by hand which worked well. The capacity is good for chopping a good amount of cabbage for slaw in a matter of seconds. The suction cups keep it in firmly in place while in use. Eventually I will try the shredding and slicing features so until then, I can't comment on those. Overall, it's a good processor.
I'm loving this food processor. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on one so I decided to give this one a shot. I'm glad I did, I haven't had any issues with it. I own a bakery so this gets a lot of use.
I had grabbed this because one of the forums I'm in mentioned this as great for making pizza dough. But unfortunately the recipe I do makes three pizzas worth of dough, and it is a bit too much for this. But for everything else, it's worked out well. Easy to use, easy to clean, and everything has a nice, neat cut, nothing tearing or ripping.
The motor works great. I chop salad, onions, even meat in it. Shredding cheese perfectly. I even make tomato slices using this food processor. The only downfall, is that when i remove the cover, the blade comes with it and spills into the bottom (it I'm over with liquid, just a tiny bit!
It could be fussy at times ! Have to get it just right ! When blending the liquid runs out the middle hole ! And very cheap plastic . Dropped the top and the whole thing shattered !!! Was ordering a new top . But the shipping cost more than the piece … 10:99 for new top but 11:99 to ship !!! A light plastic piece
I have had this for 10 months. The plastic has cracked and the handle has gotten nasty inside where I can't get to it because it was put in dishwasher even though it says it is dishwasher safe. Also once it runs for a second it starts acting like it's losing momentum and struggling to keep up. Loved it at first though. Not so much now. I now have to purchase another one. Spend a little extra on a better one than this!
Do not waste your money, I bought one and it only lasted for two uses. I thought it was a one-time issue, but I bought another one, and it didn't work at all. I received a third one last week, and it only lasted for one use. Followed all instructions, and I've been using food processors for over 20 years, so it was not a user error. Appears to be a manufacturing fault with this particular make and model.
I'm did not RECEIVE the Black %26 Decker food processor. I know my order was supposed to to be delivered on separate days, some coming in the next day or two. So I thought it was weird that they would drive all thee way to my house to deliver just two bags of chips, but didn't know until looking 10 minutes later on the app that it said the food processor had ALSO been delivered. The lady had literally even taken a picture of me holding the one bag with the chips. I called immediately in hopes she would come back. They just said they were refunding my money, which I was glad of but wanted my processor! So I went to the store. They were out of stock. I tried to get a manager to find out who the delivery person was to see if she could check and see if it was in their vehicle and had been overlooked. That didn't happen. They just said they would notify the pick-up manager of what happened. Very frustrating to go to all of that trouble and still no food processor. I'm not gonna proofread this tiny print 😊 so please excuse any typos.
This item was missing a piece so I cannot use it. I made the mistake and threw the box away before I realized it was missing a piece. I called customer service and they did not have the piece that was missing in stock. They are supposed to send me a new one for a $7.50 shipping charge. I am not pleased with having to pay more money for what was supposed to be a new machine.
Our old trusty food processor died. Sad! I replaced it with this one. No where near what our old one was. I continue to look at replacing this. I wish I could just return it.
