I bought this to do some small projects and it works great. I have never used one before so I was happy to have a smaller one that would do light projects.

Unlike one review, it's easy to change bits. Page 3 shows the spindle lock button, page 4 shows details on changing bits

Got this for a gift about a year ago. Finally got to some router projects. For wood guitar pickguards, pickup covers, etc. it is awesome. Don't know about doing a table size project but I'd give it a shot!

I'm a total beginner in using a router, after I stopped being afraid of it and doing a few trial trial run. It added some polish to my projects.

A little pricey but I bought it to complete my Matrix set it works great it will get a lot of use

I have a full-size router that I intend to make/acquire a router table for, but until then this attachment is great for everything except dovetails. It's a bit difficult to change the heads, but I reckon that's a necessary burden considering the forces involved. I have a full-size router from the stone age, hard to use, not much visibility, stupidly loud, basically only useful in a router table. Having a trim router like this is great for working on oversize projects that don't balance on the table very well. It doesn't do dovetails very well but it's great for edge work (rounding, ogees, chamfers, etc.). Only complaint is that it's a bit difficult to change the bit as the shaft lock is hard to keep engaged.

I found the platform small which made it prone to wobbling. The edge of the base is quite thin which made it harder to slide against a fence than it needs to be. it is lacking in power and speed. I think it should be marketed as a Rotozip like attachment, and should come with a 1/8" collet.
