i love b%26d irons. my mom had one all her life. i love the cord because I ts very flexible yet sturdy. easy ro add water. doesnt drip like some irons.

Soleplate is Teflon type
I returned only because the description said "stainless steel" soleplate and it was a teflon type finish. I will buy only the smooth stainless silver finish.
