Hamilton Beach Multi-Function Smoothie Blender for Kitchen, 40 oz Jar for Smoothies and Shakes, Black

Blends really well, crushes ice but you have to leave it running a bit longer. The only problem is that the top is really hard to take out, I struggle removing the top, especially if you have nails, it’s really hard to remove. But otherwise great blended for the price.

This is a very very nice blender! No spills when pouring and I live the glass jar so much more than plastic jars! The clean up is so much easier and you don't get the residue or lingering flavors like you do with the plastic jars! I very highly recommend this blender!

This blender has great blending power - with frozen fruit and ice, and it's quick and easy to use. It has more power than other brands we considered. The motor is strong and relatively quiet. We are thrilled with the smoothies it makes and now we make them AT HOME. The Salsa we make is now quick and easy to prepare. The Lid fits snuggly to the blender. It's easy to disassemble and wash, then assembles easily and securely - it's very well made!!! The price was great. It gets an A .

Very good buy and sturdy glass pitcher. Very adequate power in blending, nice feature of pulse plus set buttons. Great seal with a pouring spout. However with my experience, the connection of small plastic parts that engage the blades comparitively to the heavy sturdiness of the glass receptacle leads me to believe that the engaging parts will wear out before the rest. Great seal of the lid if you don't mind working at it to make sure it's on completely, then carefully having to force the lid off to clean or you end up with a HUGE mess? Hmmm.

A decent blender if you need one. It's got a decent power behind its blades, but you will have to mix and mash what you're blending in between pulses to make sure everything blends smoothly. The container is made out of heavy glass, it feels sturdy. The blades aren't slicing blades, they're crushing; hence the mixing and mashing. This blender crushes ice nicely, provided you put in enough liquid. I've made a cake shake and slushies that came out very homogenous so if you need to blend tougher stuff, this is good for that too.

I am very grateful to have a blender - the reason I gave a 3 star review is b/c the lid is so hard to get on and the blade is so hard to remove Also, I pulsed pork rinds and they did nothing but make a mess all over the kitchen Also, I mixed shredded chicken breast and egg and it was very clumpy so not a very good blade to be honest - This is sort of on the level of the Dollar Store Toastmaster cheap appliances that normally only last about 90 days

Doesn't blend. I keep trying to make smoothies or purines and it won't blend, doesn't matter if it's frozen fruit or soft peppers. It shakes the counter so you'd think the blades are spinning pretty fast, but ten minutes later nothing is blended. Even when u push the fruit down with a spoon, it doesn't blend.

Does not blend well at all. If u want a smoothie with big chunks then this is what you want. Not me! it works weird. It goes fast and then slow. It does that regardless any button you push. I had bought this one because my old one wasn't blending that well anymore. Well, this blender was worse.

it overheat just making a milkshake gets stinky. I don't want to fry another blender. so make them better to make milkshakes that are a little bit thicker. if it gets stinky just making a smoothie with ice or basically stinks when in use is going back for a full refund. which I better get back

I might recommend this item but would suggest DO NOT ask for it to be delivered to your home. I am unable to say much about it because it was delivered to the wrong address and I could not get a refund because Walmart insisted they delivered it correctly. The picture of the delivery was of a door that I don't have.My doors are all a different color.
