The press works best using a 1/4 pound of beef, Ground turkey or ground chicken,once pressed it makes an ideal size and shape burger. The press itself is heavy with a design center and border to give you an idea of what size the burger will be. It came with spice rub container and a spatula as well. The spatula is weighed and wide making flipping burgers on your grill easy, it also has 3 openings to allow grease to drain when picking up the burger. The spice container allows for easy shaking of your favorite spices , a sturdy handle and a plastic lid to quickly close it once finished using to prevent spilling . This is diverse enough to use for both indoor cooking or out door grilling. If using in doors the spatula is too wide for my liking but the press and seasoning container is useful.

This grilling kit has really come in handy. The huge spatula has come in handy not only for our grill but our panini press when we are making big sandwiches. My husband put his famous seasoning in the shaker and it stays fresh for a long time. The burger press really helps sear the burgers.

This set was very heavy duty!

The spatula is really wide, you can flip two burgers at once. Still it would be nice if the handle was a few inches longer. I took the shaker and filled it with garlic powder, salt and pepper then sprinkled on the burgers, tastes good and it's economical. I gave 4 stars because you have to be VERY careful using the press. I had a dummy attack. I put the press on my burger, closed the lid, cooked for a while then opened to flip burger. Guess what I did??? Yep. I grabbed the press instinctively and burned my hand. That's my own fault, but the press handle isn't heat resistant at all, so keep lid open or use a grilling glove when using it.

Wanted to love kit but I’m really disappointed. The handle on the burger press broke completely off before it was even used. The spatula and dredge seem good but the press is a no go. Poor welds on the handle, it’s useless.
