I've always been fascinated with this product at restaurants, so I decided to buy one for home. It has transformed cooking steak and poultry on the grill. It locks in juices while evenly cooking the meat. As a bonus, I even get a workout because the press weighs a ton. Outstanding all the way around!

Used them within 30 minutes of receipt to cook a bunch of bacon and hamburgers for a crew of 5. Worked great on the bacon. It came out straight, crispy, and flat just like at a restaurant. Didn't try on the burgers.

Perfect cast iron griddle press for any meat pressing jobs you have! Worked wonderful on grilled hamburgers took half the time to cook and tasted great! Also worked for hamburgersteaks amazingly. Used it to get the perfect chicken as well. The handle feels great in your hand really fits. I like the size as well.

I tried the Blackstone Cast Iron Griddle Press with Non-slip handle, medium size on a cast iron skillet filled with bacon. It definitely helped keep the bacon flat for unattractive appearance when serving and also helped for even cooking. The medium size is perfect for use with my square cast iron griddle and the handle is very comfortable. I will be trying this on some burgers or chicken next. It should be great to use on flattened chicken breasts on the stovetop or the grill. I had no problem with any food sticking to the press and it cleaned up very easily. I do always lightly oil my cast iron cookware and I anticipate many years of use with the griddle press. It is well made and heavy enough to press the food, but not so heavy as to be hard to use and handle while cooking and cleaning. I am very happy with my new Blackstone griddle press.

I was going to take a picture including the burgers, but we ate them. Not sorry. :) The grill press is of sufficient size to do three normal sized burger patties at once and we did. Just cooking for my wife and I, that's perfect. The press is heavy enough that the burgers cooked quickly and evenly. The handle remained reasonably cool and no glove was needed to remove the press to turn the burgers. I can't think of one heck of a lot to say about a grill press other than it does the job well and cleaned up easily. The cast iron has an attractive logo pattern on the upper side and bottom is a grooved pattern to keep foods from sticking. Including a simple picture of the press after cleaning. A useful tool.

I like that this grill press is heavy and the handle does not get hot. I even found that I can also use it with my small skillet.

I want to return it. It's too big. I can't use it. I want to buy a smaller one thank you.

Heavy duty , cast iron press, great nonslip handle. I used a few times while making burgers and bacon. Need to warm the press first before placing on food. Worked well. Helped to cook a bit faster and evenly. Food stuck to surface...needs to be seasoned with oil. The griddle press rusted a small amount after washing. Make sure you dry completely. Storage carefully.
