Blackstone Folding Probe Thermometer

I know this is technically a meat thermometer but it works for other recipes as well! Here you can see we're using it to test the temperature for a specific chai tea. Having an accurate temperature reading ensure the tea doesn't burn and the appropriate chemical reaction allows for the perfect brew. I've only had it for a short time but it feels very durable, like it will last a long time.

This thermometer was easy to calibrate, is easy to store- is easy to read, and has taken a variety of temperatures in different meat products and been very accurate in temperature compared to another calibrated thermometer. This is a great thermometer. It turns on quickly. It's lightweight. Easy to use. The screen is bright and easy to read. Seems to be accurate. I tested it with another one and they were just one degree off. Easy to clean. I haven't had it very long so I can't comment on the battery life. It's small so easy to store. It's very well designed and built. It's easy to use. It has some nice functions that are not shown in the photo or in the description. On the back of the thermometer there is a button that switches from Fahrenheit to Celsius. There is a function to calibrate the thermometer if needed. The thermometer also comes with a chart that gives suggested temperature range for cooking meat rare, medium and well done. I'm very happy with this purchase and it's a great value for the money. Appears to be very accurate. My steaks came out perfect using this thermometer.

Big display for the reading temperature and good quality. Love that it folds closed. Another brand I bought did not fold, not knowing, and I broke it. Would definitely recommend this one and I love the Blackstone brand!

I love this food thermometer. The temp range is great. It's very durable well made.i love the different features from Celsius to freight. The screen is big enough to easily read the numbers. I also like that when. You close the probe the device turns off.
