Easy to use. Quickly reads temps on practically everything. I got it primarily as a deep fry thermometer. It's handy for saute pan temps too. Reads room temps. I've had it for almost a year and haven't changed the battery yet. The option to keep the display light off is obviously a good battery saver.

this heat gun is comparable to the more expensive ones I have used in the past.good for mechanical , electrical to find hot spots.

This has to be one of the best items I have ever bought for my barbecue or flat top. I can tell exactly where the hot and cold spots are for a more precise cooking experience. This has to be more useful than a rectal thermometer at my proctologists office. Thank you for having this product.

Needed this for room temperature rating in the hallway of my apartment complex and took a video to show HUD the a/c was NOT working in the COMMON AREA and it showed 98.6 degrees of unbearable air temperature. Landlord wouldn't listen to Tenants but they sure did listen to HUD. A/C was fixed immediately !!! Thanks.

I never would have bought this if I knew that you had to set the emissivity differently for everything that you want to check the temperature on. I bought it mainly to check the temperature on a griddle. I set it on what is recommended, but I wonder if the temperature is correct when I check it.

I received this thermometer, opened the package, put the batteries in and it never read a correct temperature from the time I opened the package to now when I'm returning it. in my opinion it's a piece of junk so I'm going to buy one of the other competitors thermometer and hopefully it will work better than this thing. you might want to try one of the better rated or reviewed products.
