I bought theses for my older granddaughters to carry on their keychain. I pray they never have to use them!!
I needed pepper spray since I have a long walk to school and this pepper spray does the trick! The pepper spray is cute which is a bonus and the keychain fits perfectly on my keyring!
I get compliments on it all the time
this was a gift to my eldely neighbor who walk every day. i thought she needed protection from dogs running loose in our neighborhood. she loved it.
I like to go walking with my dog. But this world is not the safest. So having pepper spray at my fingertips has given me a thought of safety. Also it has UV dye if used for tracing, which I really like this feature. I believe this should be purchased for every middle school child, lady and elderly people. I do like you can quickly pop slide tab, to use. I can put on my key ring or attach to back pack or purse. Gives me a thought of added security with pepper spray for attacker or vicious dogs.
I bought two of these, and they are really cute. They are shimmery, but it's actually material of some kid wrapped around the spray. It looks a bit cheap and is just glued down where it meets. On of of them it doesn't quite line up so the seem shows. If you are the type that carries your keys around unprotected, the shimmer is NOT going to last more than 3-4 months before rubbing off. Once that happens you are left with a very unattractive pink and white speckled mess. The other problem is the spray trigger does not stay in the lock position. It constantly gets twisted open and could easily get pushing down in your purse or while fidgeting with your keys. It has a safety lock position for a reason. It should stay in that position. It's a poor design. I will be replacing these with a safer option. I can't say how these work, but I'm just afraid at this point that we will accidentally find out.
The packaging is cute. I got the hombre pink one. I put it on my keychain as it had a ring attachment but then I immediately took it off. The red cap that you turn to dispense the chemical is faulty as it doesn't lock in the off position. I fear that I will accidentally disperse the contents of the chemical on myself, in my pocket etc
The driver must if threw my order it was found under my car almost on the side driveway. As you can see from the driver's photo he didn't place it on my porch.I don't think he even got out of the car
Charged for item, but never received
I wanted this spray for my nineteen year old who is in college, as one of their evening classes is in a building with a dimly lit parking lot. When the spray arrived, I read the instructions before use and went outside on a day with no wind to test the product. From here it went very badly! I moved the trigger into the spray position. (This button could easily be bumped open, causing activation on accident!) Then I held my arm out and sprayed. Instead of the spray coming out in a straight line, it sprayed out all wonky, to the left and right, and came back at my face! Luckily, I had my glasses on and they saved me from getting a bunch of spray in my eyes. I did feel one drop hit my eyes, but the burn didn't last long. The spray did, however, get underneath my nose and the skin around my nostrils was burning until I applied allergy/burn cream. I have no idea how/why this happened. I did not attempt to try it out again for obvious reasons. I put it safely away so that I could take pictures, and when I got it back out, the trigger lock was already slid into open position just from setting in on a shelf. This spray was immediately thrown out after the pictures were taken.
