this is so easy to use. my 10 year old can put it up and take it down. we feel about a million time safer while using it. it's much more effective compared to some of the other things you can buy meant for the same purpose. living in Los Angeles is freightening but this makes it a little bit less.

I purchased this for my apartment door due to there being several recent break-ins at my apartment complex. It's not complicated to set up to fit your door correctly. It's strong and sturdy. The peace of mind makes it worth every penny.

My front door wouldn't lock at all. I was very concerned about my safety and needed extra security to make sure that I was able to lock my door. I went online and purchased the Brinks door Stopper, and it works!!

my grand daughter feels much safer with this under her door at night. Having the peace of mind that she feels safer in her own home makes me feel wonderful about this purchase.

This works, but the door must swing towards the area that you want to secure. If the door swings inward then this is a piece of crap that you'll want to return. There are other types of no-drill door locks that may be more useful for all occasions. I will update my review once I try the others too! However, I love Walmart's online ordering.

It only deters around 300 pounds of force, but a strong back mule kick could require 1k pounds of force to successfully keep a crazed stalker out, for example. It comes assembled and if you're looking for something to take to hotels with you, I think the brinks would get the job done. On a flimsy door that you desperately need to keep someone from forcing their way through? Try the Sabre brand instead.

I would recommend it if you need something really durable and fast this will definetely work. The color is that of an old armored Brinks truck. Which I'd pass on maybe like a federal blue or something. Overall yes I recommend but I can't wait for suture models. It's well worth the price too.👍👍

Not very secure, the one I got on Amazon was much better. This doesn't stay put and slides when you attempt to place it. I have wooden floors. I find myself wiping the dust off the bottom to make it have more grip. Haven't ever had to do that with the ones from Amazon, and I've had them for longer in higher traffic area

The pics show it being used under the door handle. I didn't receive the piece shown in the pic under the door handle. When I went to return it to the store, they refused to refund or replace. They said the piece isn't included. After poor customer service and product description, I canceled my membership.

Did not prevent break in! Door was easily broken into rather quickly. Save your money, don't buy this product. Get a good alarm system instead!
