Hyper Tough 6 ft Braided Steel Security Cable, Vinyl Coated Open Loop Cable Lock, 1/4 in. Diameter, Weather Resistant

Received this cable to hook up our bikes to the rack when we go biking. We used it for the first time last weekend at the bike trail at the state park. Although it seems to be a safe place we didn't want to take any chances with our bikes and our daughters bike trailer. We were able to hook up the bikes and loop it around the bike trailer connector so that all of our bikes were safe while we went onto the beach. Highly recommend and very simple to use. We slide the cord through the loop at the end so it wouldn't have to be connected to the opposite end of the cord. Great product!

I will be using this to lock my powered wheelchair to the carrier of the back of my truck . Was a lot heavier than i expected for the price . Should help to protect it nicely

This cable is super strong and convenient. It's weatherproof because it's plasticized on the top of a steel cable. 6 foot length and 1/4 inch diameter

I don't have a bike, but I do love this thing. I use it in my Jeep Wrangler to secure my Golf clubs when I am stopping somewhere. Besides the Golf course on The Way to play Golf and it works perfect.

This is standard as far as steel cables go. It is vinyl coated to prevent rusting and scratching. The end loops are very secure. The coils are very tight so rather than 6 ft, I would consider the longer length option. One can always double wrap but one can't lengthen it and I feel a longer length would come in handy more often. That said, if you only have one purpose for the cable and 6 ft works than no need for a longer cable. I would recommend without hesitation.

I only wish the outside cover was more nano tech. imho.

This cable is very thin, appears easy to cut. I returned it.

Easily cut and kayak stolen looped the cable through multiple areas and the wire looks to have been easily cut
