Brinks Solid Brass 30mm Keyed Padlock with 5/8in Shackle

This lock is the perfect size lock for what I needed for my beehive observation box very sturdy and the keys are solid I seen some complaining about the keys but they are not made of cheap metal and they definitely won't bend! I love this lock I wished I would've bought a multiple pack of them for future needs!

I was SURPRISED when I saw the price of this lock in the store $2.77 Is this little Brinks lock in the wrong spot?? The Combination locks are around the same price..... (I hate Combination locks!!) It rang up $2.77 and I couldn't be happier! Using this for my work gym locker. Small lock but does the job well :-) Happy customer.

Very nice product. Durable. Keep this lock and all locks DRY. Drop a oil inside to prevent rust in humid conditions.

The lock is better than expected. Its heavy and very durable with excellent build quality, not one of those cheap locks. The product is worth the money paid.

the only reason I rated it a 4 it would have been a 5 but, it was delivered to the wrong address which .... I got it but it was across the street from me..

I got these for lock picking practice though I didn't pay attention to the dimensions and they were smaller than I thought (100% my bad) Once I finally found something small enough to use as a tension wrench (a pair of tweezers) I used the safety pin I bent slightly and fiddled around with it for a while. It took maybe 15ish minutes but eventually I had picked my very first lock. It went into a false set while I was picking which, from what I understand, means there's security pins which was surprising to me considering how small it is. I understand this isn't high security lock at all and is mostly for lockers and baggage but after I had a concept for how to pick locks my subsequent attempts took less than 5 or so minutes despite my complete lack of prior experience. I'm going to use them as stim toys and maybe jewelry now

Learn from my mistake! I bought this item online for delivery. I guess I should have checked the measurements first but I, like many others, kinda assume a padlock is a padlock and it will at least be a reasonably standard size. This lock, however, is not. It’s basically the size of the lock on a teenager’s diary. I’m sure the lock itself is fine if you can find something that it actually fits on. It’s too small for bike cable lock, it’s too small for chain, it won’t fit around any tree or fence or sign post….

Because I thought they were bigger than that, I didn't want these little tiny ones and it's hard to tell by the pictures cause in the picture. It looks big.

these are quality locks it's the small opening part that you hook on to what you need to lock it's tiny it doesn't say that the lock is a nice size itself and their quality locks but this won't fit on anything they should make that known. it would be a perfect lock if the coupler was longer it needs to be a lot longer

From the picture this item seemed bigger. I need one three times that size so this isn't gonna work. That's the only reason I gave it a 1 star because it wasn't what I expected, but the rest of the order was perfect.
