Nice, positive lock. The cable is easier to route behind the zipper tabs! Also the layout is nice, one has something (the lock body) to hold onto while dialing in the combination. A bit more expensive, she's HAPPY! Well worth it-

i ordered a specific item. i received a message letting me know it was not available and offered a substitute. i declined the substitute, went to pick up my order and the substitute was there. i now have to make an extra trip back to the store to return the item i declined.

I use this on my bike bag. The flexible shaft is great. But the numbers are hard to read. Silver on silver and tiny. Brinks needs to do better.

Traveled all over Europe with this lock, and then on the last flight home, it ended up missing. Don't know if it broke or if TSA took it! Good buy for the money though.

The item appears to work fine but it was not a NEW UNOPENED ITEM! The back was opened to remove the lock and then put back in the packaging and a shipping label put over it to hold the opened sides down. Since it wasn't a new item I feel the price should have been discounted.

I bought two of these for two different suitcases. Upon arriving at our first destination, one lock was completely gone, missing from my bag. ?? Did it come unlocked, or did TSA unlock it, then Pitch it? Did TSA not re-lock it correctly? No idea. There was no notice in our bag TSA had unlocked the lock. My other bag was locked with lock in place. This was the first time used, and it was a waste of money. My bag ended up without a lock for the 12 days of our trip. I have purchased another brand to replace these.

It was challenging to set the lock while using a pencil to hold the button on the side. I did get the new combo set and tested it several times before putting it on my computer bag. Unfortunately, as other reviews mention, the combo didn't work when I went to take it off, and resetting based on the instructions didn't work. Waste of money and time spent on this lock just to have it cut off.
