Brink's Weather Resistant 40mm Laminated Steel Padlock

It has a nice weight to it and it feels secure. there's no wiggle room in the lock which is great. My only issue is the weird little key, but I don't even know if I like it or not yet. it's just different.

This is a good lock most of my locks rusted out but this one has protection from the rust and the rain. I am thinking of replacing all my outdoor locks with this type.

lock is designed for protection against bad weather usiny shank seals and keyhole cap. easily opens.

I decided not to use yet. May collect water as some say at bottom. I foil my locks. Sometimes, it double clicks and opens..other times one click and pull.

The lock is good quality. My issue is I really needed outside locks that won't rust. I was so excited when i found these. after a lot of rain, i went to open my locks and found the water seeped into the bottom protective 'lid'. Thats what im calling it. The most important part of the key lock is the key entry. The bottom 'lid' where you open or close the casing, held all the water from the rain, leaving my locks sitting in water. The waterproof protective cover needs reenginered. it would definitely work 100% if employed differently. The rest of the lock was great!

the inner shackle doesn't seem to catch it takes several times to get it to lock before it stays locked

great lock for the price. I use it to lock up my lawnmower and yard tools. Low crime neighborhood doesn't need to be the best lock.

the plastic piece to go over the key slot broke as soon as i took it off. made out of hard plastic and has no give on that piece. veey very disappointed. i paid more to get your brand and was not worth it! my nezt lock will be by a different company. shame on you., should know hard plastic has no give

Don't buy this lock if you're going to use it outdoors and you live in an area that gets rain. Moisture gets inside of it from the top and into the bottom enclosure even if the cap is on. I've got hard water build up already in the lock and I've only had it outside for 1 winter season.
