Brinks Flex Weave Flexible Steel 3/8in x 15ft Open Loop Cable Lock

The Brinks 15' Flexweave Steel Loop Cable is a tough customer and more difficult to cut than steel chain. Even the loop terminators are covered with heavy, large gauge nylon covers to make this security cable one of the best. The 15' cable is long enough to include all the wheels and frame of your bicycle. But it is much more than needed for just a bicycle. I use it on my 4 wheeler when I cannot watch it all the time. I've used it to secure garage sale items to trees. Recommended.

This is a really strong and tough steel cable, yet it is not too bulky or heavy. I currently use it to lock down my kayaks on my dock out back and it really does the job well. It can also be used for many other items such as bikes, motorcycles, patio furniture and numerous other types of personal property you want to secure. It has a twisted steel core and a smooth outer coating. It is very pliable and easy to manipulate through tight spaces yet it is extremely strong and provides great security to whatever items you want to lock down. It has two looped ends which you simply lock together using whatever security lock you choose. This cable does not come with a lock so you have to buy that separately. I really like this cable because it has a very smooth outer coating which looks and feels good and will help to prevent it from rusting, yet it is extremely difficult to cut and provides terrific security. This is definitely a camping must have item!!!! Ofcourse you can Use this steel cable for more than just camping. I love this cable for camping because sometimes depending on your site You may need to take a generator, fish fryer, mini bbq pit, and you Dont want to keep these to close to your camper, especially a noisy generator. That's why this 15ft cable is awesome, you.can take your noisy generator Further away from you camper, and secure it to a tree. Also secure bikes, camping carts, whatever!!! In the picture, I secured a bike and wagon to a tree that's trunk was 2ft around, and had Lots of cable to reach my wagon and cart. No worries about your stuff Going anywhere with this cable! This thing is way better than the last one we had a few years back made by another brand. We are using this one for our mower and trailer. It seems very strong. I was sent this item for free in exchange for my honest review and I recommend this cable that's made by a name brand I trust.

Really strong cable, used it to lock up my kayak. Make sure you get a lock with a long neck as this is a thick cable. Thickly coated your prevent damage. I wasn't afraid of damaging the roof of my car because it was nicely protected. Definitely we'll worth it. Highly recommend if you are in need of theft protection.

What I like most about the Brinks Flexweave Steel Loop Cable, is the multitude of uses. I do have a bike but I use the Brinks Flexweave cables for trailers and outdoor furniture in addition to my lawn mowers. The weather in West KY can get mighty nasty at times with high winds and even tornados. One year my outdoor bench went flying into the pond. YIKES! So now I lock my benches and even my patootie furniture with Brinks cables. I also have a trailer I keep locked with a Brinks cable by wrapping the cable around a tree. Great for lawn mowers too. I've never had any of my equipment or furnishings stolen and I doubt I ever will since I use the Brinks cables. This particular Brinks Flexweave cable is 15 feet x 3/8 inches and extremely durable. They do warn on the package that these cables are not be used as tie downs, towing, or lifting. For securing, they're great!

This cable is 15 feet long and coated. I bought it to secure 2 electric bikes. This cable along with one cable bike lock secures both bikes to our RV. We wrap it around one of the foot pads (we have a fifth wheel) and run the bike cable lock through the bike frames and through this cable and our bikes are secured. The 15 foot length allows for some movement of the bikes if necessary. If you are looking for a way to secure bikes, I highly recommend putting this in your security tool chest. It is well worth the price with prace of mind.

Great quality and very easy to use. This product is one of those get what you pay for items. They are definitely cheaper versions, but I feel fully confident in using this cable due to its strength and the fact that it doesn't coil up needlessly like some of the cheaper ones do. The length is long enough to be used in situations that call for more wrapping, but is still manageable enough that it's not overwhelming to use for small distances.

The Brinks Flex Weave Steel Loop Cable is a very heavy duty cable with a 3/8 OD durable vinyl jacket. It's cut resistant and corrosion resistant. It has a twisted steel core. It's a 15 ft, 3/8 inch cable. As shown in the included pictures, we are actually using the cable to secure our trailer to a pole to deter theft.

The Brink's 3/8 x 15' Flexweave Steel Loop Cable is surprisingly flexible, making it really easy to use for locking up an abundance of different items like outdoor furniture or lockboxes. Many similar but shorter cables I've used are next to impossible to roll out completely straight, but that's no problem with this Brink's cable. As soon as you uncoil it from the package it no longer maintains the coil. Of course the cable is strong and 3/8" thickness isn't easy to cut, although not impossible. It's covered in a gray rubbery coat that's soft to the touch. This cable is everything you would want and I recommend this product.
