This item would definitely deter a break in because it makes a very loud noise that would scare anyone away. It's extremely sensitive so you know it's going to work well.

I loved this product! I can sleep at night knowing it gives the extra security. Not only was this a great deal but it arrived on time and exceeded my expectations! I loved it so much I bought more for my mom and neighbor!

I ordered the 2pack wedge door alarms. I think they will be perfect for when I travel. Last time staying in a motel, they put me in a room with 2 doors. Now I'm ready. Mine are individually boxed, so you can share if you don't need 2of them. Easy to use and really loud. Glad I ordered them.
