I go to visit with my adult sons two times a year. Although we stay in 4-5 star hotels, security as a senior female is always a concern, and there have been reports of late night robberies even when doors are locked. This is the reason I ordered this device that according to reviews is effective. I practiced using the lock on my own outer door and feel confident that it will add a layer of protection.

It works very well. Maintenance workers are unable to enter my apartment when the security latch is on. Saved me from what could have been a very embarrassing situation.

I recently stayed in a motel without the additional lock you often see, just the doorknob. I was a little nervous so started looking into solutions for travel. This is a pretty good product. One tip not covered is the hook attachment to the chain. A competitor uses a keyring but this hook is even better in the long run. I found I couldn't close the door until I moved the chain to the opposite end, depending on whether you need the standard opening or larger opening. So the hook makes it easy. I tested it on various doors and it works great!

I really enjoy using Walmart because it saves me effort and time. It's pretty darn stressful driving to locations, finding a good parking spot, walking to the entrance with my bum knees and hip. Seeking out the place on the shelf, checking standing in line at most a checkout a day convenient for shopping.

It ok but for some doors it wont work if the door to close to the frame of the door there just no room for that to go on your door like i tried on my bedroom door work work there no space to use it i did use it on the bathroom door there a little space there if there no space for it the would mean your door frame it not the right size there should alway be a little gap in between your door and the door frame if so you need to change your frame of your door it like putting a new door hand and lock on you wont be able because the metal plate ok the dooe your your handle lock your door wont close trust me i tried i have to recut the dam door to fit it in that always make sure door frame is wide eough or it just wont it if your frame of your shifs the you will have a problem i would do that from your house settling not good because it can make some doors hard to close
