Blistex Five Star Protection Lip Balm, SPF 30, 0.15 Ounce; 2 Count

I am always looking for lip balms because I have very dry skin. I found a balm that has all the things I'm looking for: 1. There is SPF! My lips get sunburned in any temperature, even on a cloudy day. Lips have delicate skin and some products, like glosses, make them more likely to burn. 2. This balm layers well. It is perfectly moisturizing, if a little firm, and absorbs into the lips well. If I wear the balm on its own, it lasts for 3 or 4 hours. (It will cure a menthol addiction!) But if I want to wear a little gloss or lipstick over it, as long as I dab them on gently, I still get the hydration and sun protection of the balm. 3. The balm is fairly priced. Given that I go through many tubes per month, this is important. 4. I mentioned earlier that this balm is firm but it glides on easily. It has a lovely texture. Needless to say, I recommend this balm.

I got this balm because it has better weather resistance for skiing, swimming, rock climbing, general outdoors stuff. works well - primarily the extra spf

Blistex absolutely provides 5 Star Protect during the winter and summer. Two-three light applications each day keep my lips moist and healthy looking. It is the only product I have used for over 10 years and counting

This is the perfect sunscreen for lips. Great protection! Having had cancer on my lips I am always vigilant about protection. This is a great option at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend.

I am sensitive to certain smells but this doesn't bother me... which is a huge relief...and it has kept my lips chap free during the cold winter!

I loved the idea of the high SPF, and this is probably just personal preference, but I couldn't stand how waxy this lip balm felt. I could feel it on my lips and it transferred to my water bottle, cereal spoon, etc. I'm used to my lip balm feeling invisible and this was not it.
