Great product but is higher priced than I'd prefer on a fixed income. Not a complaint about price gouging, it's the same price as other places have it advertised. It's just very expensive for those of us on fixed incomes. A senior discount would be a nice benefit from the company. Just a suggestion, not a criticism! 👍

My dog is allergic to chicken and beef. This is the only kibble I have found without either, and he loves it! And it doesn't have a yuck smell!

This food has been a game changer for my dog %26 her skin issues. She anxiously waits by her food bowl , therefore I have came to the conclusion she really likes the taste as well. I have tried many foods and this one is hands down been the best for my dog.

On top of ongoing paw licking and biting certain parts of his body, my pittie/cattle dog/lab mix started eating grass all the time while also enduring 36-48 hour bouts of very loose stools every 3-4 weeks. When I brought it up to our vet, he said it could food sensitivity or allergy if it continued after a 2-week round of prescription probiotics. Well, it didn't stop so he recommended a limited ingredient dry food with no wheat, corn or soy and a unique protien source he wasn't use to. Blue Basics Salmon/Potato recipe fit the bill and he has been a changed pup (for the better) ever since. He's licking and chewing himself far less, and - as a side benefit - his coat has become much softer and he's shedding a bit less, too. And while he still eats some grass, it's far less than he did before and my vet mentiomed some dogs just like the taste of grass - so he seems to be one of "those" dogs. As a side note, this is also the first food he's had where he tries to "help" me prepare it because he's so excited to eat, sticking his nose in the bag and staying within 6" of me from the time I grab his bowl to prepare his meal. So that's another win.

I buy blue buffalo for my Labrador retriever. She is allergic to everything I believe except for air. This blue buffalo basics is the only thing I have found that she can eat that does not cause her to itch all over. I would highly recommend this.

The salmon flavor seemed very appealing, and my dog ate it without hesitation. I noticed the food was gentle on the stomach and helped with digestion compared to some other foods we've tried.

Bought this for our 9 year old Dachshund because it was recommended for allergies. There must have been something in it that she was highly allergic to because after 3 weeks on this her hair was falling out on her entire back. We changed to Ian's and now her hair is growing back.
