Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Spray, Zinc Oxide, 5 oz

This sunscreen works really well. Just be prepared to take the time to spray it close to your skin and then rub it out like you would a lotion. Without doing this process, the sunscreen won’t work properly. I tried this lotion on my pale skin and it rubbed in great, tried it on my boyfriends tan skin and it like a tinge of color so I can’t say that the white color of the sunscreen blends in well on someone who isn’t pale.

I bought this for a trip to the beach. 3 generations used it, all liked the protection. No heavy odor, spray went on light enough to not be heavy but great coverage. Liked that it was not full of additives that were not good for our skin.

One of the few products on the shelf that protects you from UV/ UVA rays AND helps protect the ocean! The chemicals in other products are harmful to the environment, especially the ocean. I have the spray on, and it works great - there's no fragrance, it turns transparent, it absorbs well, and there's no white residue afterwards, it does not burn, it's good for sensitive skin and it's from Australia.

we have some sunscreen allergies as well as skin that burns very fast in this family. Blue Lizard Mineral sunscreen is the best!

After using a rub- in cream style sunscreen that lasts all summer, I thought I would give this one a try. the first thing I noticed is that the spray doesn't always distribute the sunscreen evenly. Sometimes, you just get air. A few more shakes and tilts and it may come out. I don't know if I am applying it evenly especially on my face. It does not feel greasy and seems to soak in to my skin fairly quickly. i will say this: I bought this can 2 weeks ago. It is almost empty after 5 applications. With this not lasting long, for $18 or so, I'm going back to the No Ad cream.

Long time blue lizard user. Tried diary for first time. Disappointed! Spray was hard to operate and very inconsistent application. Daughters were burned b/c the lotion doesn’t evenly dispense with sprayer. Stick to traditional lotion.

My dermatologist recommended I use mineral sunscreen because of rashes with other sunscreens. I tried Blue Lizard 50 sensitive Mineral Sunscreen and I broke out in a bad rash. I previously used a different mineral sunscreen without having issues, but that one wasn't available. This Sunscreen should not say "sensitive". Research says these inactive ingredients could be the problem in Blue Lizard Sensitive "phenoxyehtanol, 1,2-hexanediol, and certain plant-derived ingredients. I don't understand why inactive ingredients need to be added and put some people at risk. It took a steroid cream to calm down my angry skin.

I applied this sunscreen before we even left our house to go to the beach - about 30 mins before we got there. I reapplied every 90 minutes. Made sure to let it dry before getting wet each time. Still got SEVERELY burned!!!! This was terrible!!! Like I didn’t even use sunscreen! My poor kids used it too and my 2 %26 5 year old boys have burned legs. I am so disappointed!!!

I think the sun protection is good but the design of the bottle is not. I paid 18 dollars for this can and I took it on a cruise with me and after one use the sprayer wouldn’t let anything come out. I didn’t have sun protection for the rest of the trip in the Bahamas. Such a waste of money since I couldn’t use it.

I applied half of this spray bottle throughout the 4 hours i was on the beach and still got completely burned. i was even under the umbrella majority of the time. idk how i coild apply $10 worth of sunblock and burn so bad. my familg used other brands and applied less and didnt burn at all
