Cetaphil Sheer Mineral Face Sunscreen Moisturizing Drops, SPF 50, Travel Size, 1.7 fl oz

The quality and price is what drew me to purchasing this for my dad who has been have issues with rosacea. I haven’t tried this myself but figured this would be a good way to motivate him to wearing sunscreen once he steps out of the house. I do have to advise others that it does seem to leave a white cast on the skin for those who are concerned about it. In my case, I just use this as proof that my dad is actually using the product, so that’s a win for me.

I purchased this for my brother and he likes it. He reports that it has no scent, absorbs with no white residue and gives great protection from the sun. Will purchase again.

This is lightweight and never feels greasy or sticky. Just rub it in well and it doesn’t look chalky either. It comes in a small bottle but I only use it on my face and neck and the back of my hands so it does last while. It never ever stings my eyes either. Since it’s a mineral sunscreen it’s safe on children and it won’t sting or make them cry

Excellent sunscreen! I’ve been using this as my face sunscreen for several years now and I trust it wholeheartedly. It goes on without feeling heavy. It’s nice and lightweight and doesn’t leave a white cast on my face. It absorbs quickly and I never feel slimy and it doesn’t peel. I am a red head with pale skin and I haven’t had a sunburned face in several years with this sunscreen. It’s a lovely part of my daily ritual.

This is the absolute best mineral sunscreen you can buy at a drugstore. I think it’s equivalent to Sheisedo Ultimate Sun Protection spf 60 minus the extra skin care goodies. It’s also similar to La Roche Posay mineral spf 50 . No residue, waterproof, and feels elegant going on. It’s excellent, my favorite year-round mineral sunscreen.

I loved this sunscreen! I have naturally oily skin and have an issue with SPFs breaking me out. By the first application, I knew I would like it because it’s a mineral based formula and is extremely non-greasy. It also dries down nearly in a matte texture. I do have to apply moisturizer liberally before this sunscreen because it doesn’t blend smoothly, but that isn’t an issue. I also wish the SPF was greater than only 50 but they may offer higher SPF and I haven’t found it yet. 4.5/5 for me!

I have used this product in the past and rate it superior to other brands. The fragrance free and liquid consistency is a real advantage. This product was ordered on Walmart.com and when I received the product it had an expiration date of 06/25. It is currently April, so this expiration date leaves 2 months to use the product. I texted Walmart.com to ask them about sending a replacement, but since I had already received the product they texted that wasn’t possible. I don’t believe this product was shipped directly from Walmart. I use the Walmart.com website as I want to limit my exposure to a store environment. I have always received excellent service and products. I do not want to go to the store to return the item because of the exposure issues. I would appreciate your help in receiving this sunscreen with an expiration date of approximately one year from now in the mail. Thank you

Not hydrating in the least. Doesn’t blend easily due to its dry formula which also means you have to use more than recommended for adequate coverage. Leaves a white cast. Makeup pills if applied over it. Wont be repurchasing.

I purchased this item, specifically because it said the only active ingredient was zinc oxide and it was a 100% mineral sunscreen. Upon opening the bottle I was dismayed by the strong scent of Wintergreen, a red flag that the product contains a very high amount of butylocty salicylate, something I and anyone with an aspirin allergy are extremely allergic to. Before purchasing this I did read the active ingredients list, but unfortunately, the manufacturer has chosen to put this ingredient in the inactive ingredients list. It is not an active ingredient it is an ingredient that penetrates deep into the skin and even into the bloodstream, making it extremely dangerous to anybody with an allergy to this compound. Restaurants used to spray a similar salicylate compound on salad bars to keep things looking fresh but it was made illegal to do so after people were ending up in the emergency room after unknowingly ingesting it. Hiding this ingredient in the list of inactive ingredients is similarly deceptive to Consumers.

Didn’t get to try it, had to return it. Be careful you’re not buying this from another seller other than Walmart. I received a torn up package about to expire in early summer and charged full price for it. Terrible! Defeats the whole purpose of buying it.
