Delicious gumbo!!
We love the authentic flavor!! 😋 I use this as base after I saute the holy trinity ( onion, celery, green pepper) and conecuh sausage and chicken. Add gumbo file to taste. I saute shrimp with garlic separately and serve on top of the gumbo with a little rice. Absolutely delicious!! 😋

This stiff taste great. Not spicy at all. I tried using shredded rotisserie chicken and just the microwave making bowls as I went threw the day. And rice added in. Along with Walmart pre cooked sweet cornbread. Will be buying more of this for sure

Blue Runner is a brand you can trust and always delicious! Believe me, when a Louisiana Lady says a canned Gumbo Base is trustworthy and tasty...Buy it!

Trying to cut corners and save time. BIG mistake! It was good, but the fresh I make when I make it is far better in all aspects! Sorry BR!!!

Terrible product! Pure oil, no meat, completely in
This is by far the worst gumbo base I have ever tasted. The can looks huge, but it's nothing more than a giant container filled with grease and oil. There is literally NO beef in it at all—extremely stingy and overpriced! I tried taking two bites and got sick to my stomach. Ended up throwing all three cans straight into the trash because it's non-returnable. Absolute waste of money. Do not buy!
