We love the skinless sausage because it is healthier than the regular sausage. Plus this sausage has a very good taste. I cook it in everything and even use it as a breakfast sausage for my family. The process cost effective and I have used it for years with no complaints

It doesn't make enough by itself so I combined with another gumbo mix. I wound up with a pot of pretty good gumbo. All the ingredients blended well together. I will certainly recommend this if a small pot will suit you. If you are new to gumbo, this will give you a good intro until you get together with a good South Louisiana cook who will serve you the real thing. Yum!

I have been using this product for years. whatever meat or seafood I use it always comes out great. I have even used this as a base for a vegetable soup.

I love gumbo but takes a long time to make from scratch in busy households. This product is perfect in taste and prep time. With chicken and sausage or seafood.

Our family is from New Orleans and gumbo is a staple. Through the years it has been customary to make our own gumbo base, but this is just as good and so much easier. I wish they stocked this in the store, but they only had gumbo mix which already has rice in it. We ordered a bunch and will keep ordering so we always have some on the shelf.

I like the gumbo base. It's a quick and easy meal. You don't have to make a roux. I often use rotisserie chicken that I've deboned. The base is well seasoned.

This is the best gumbo base on the market in my opinion. I tried another brand, but wasn't nearly as good. I'm just going to stick with the Zatarain's from now on.
