They are really cute but salt and pepper gets caught between the lid. Otherwise they work great and the window shows you how much is in the shaker

Shaker doesn't close tight enough over holes
The very top of the shaker loosens to allow, I am using one as a salt dispenser, the salt. Even when you think you have it closed, if you tilt the shaker, salt comes out and makes a mess.
