I like the butter dish a lot. The cover was a little tight in the hinges; a dab of olive oil took care of it. The plastic knife that comes with it is great for the butter pats going into my ceramic cookware.

Love that in contrast to my old Butterie that I replaced with this, you can see how much butter is left through the transparent lid. Lid lifts smoothly and tray part is flat so knife glides all the way to the bottom to cut off a clean pat of butter.

It closes completely no gaps and I've already put in dishwasher top shelf and came out clean and in great shape

Just what I was looking for easy to work with very convenient hold two blocks of butter would purchase again would recommend it

Serves its purpose. Easy to clean. Lid opens gently without much force. Though I wanted a ceramic butter dish, I always fear dropping the lid because of my arthritis. No issues with this item :)

I had a heavy stone butter dish which was awkward to use as you had to lift the cover off before use. This gem is easy to flip open with a finger and didn't realize how much I used the scraper.

Great product. When I get to the end of one stick of butter there is enough room to add another stick without crowding. Knife sits perfectly on the edge

It's too big for one stick of butter bigger than it needs to be while listed for only one stick. While I loved the idea of the flip up/down lid it would be so convenient and I almost kept it just so I wouldn't have to fumble with putting lid on or off. If they should happen to ever make one that isn't so big I would buy one

I did not like this as much as I hoped I would. The clear cover lets it look messy once you start using the butter. Also after further research I found that it could be purchased for much less on amazon or even even ebay. It is dishwasher safe and I enjoy the bright color.
