Used this after much research to clear an airbag problem and it worked! So I left the key on in the ignition and it drained my battery COMPLETELY. I found that the airbag system has a computer and air pump among other parts but research suggested if you have not had a deployment of the bags than the codes could be cleared and turns out the code showed Low Voltage is all that was wrong and I was able to clear all lights and warnings! Worked well for me but much time went into research prior to purchase, successfully. Thank God.

It works amazingly. It definitely saved me a visit to the mechanic for something super simple that would have cost a lot more. My check engine light came on, and I had no idea what it could be. With this OBD scanner, it showed me that it was the mass air flow sensor, and it even linked the exact part on Amazon for an easy purchase. It's a smart choice if you like to do things yourself or want to avoid mechanics telling you something different from the real issue. It connects easily to the car and links to the smartphone app almost instantly.

I know nothing about how to use these things but wanted to give it a try. More out of curiosity and independence from mechanics to rule out some things before taking it in. AI was also supportive throughout the process but also there is 24/7 support from technicians if needed. It gave me useful data which narrowed down my concerns. 2015 Jeep with 100K miles. Reduced gas mileage. Recommend to someone curious and somewhat patient. Ease of use was notable.

Haven't even received this one yet, but the reality is, the one it's replacing was over five years old, worked flawlessly, was able to diagnose 100% of all the car issues I've had.… If it hadn't been stolen, I wouldn't be buying another one.

I picked up a 2015 Taurus Interceptor with a mystery check-engine light. This device was connected in seconds to my phone, gave me the codes, and a helpful list of fixes. I was even able to just clear the codes myself too. So this time, you are one step ahead of any shop, and the power is in YOUR hands. Realistically, this device should be wayyy more money. Heck, they don't even charge for the app. The app is free, and all of its functionality is free! If you own anything made after 1996, just buy this. Even if you haven't lifted a wrench in your life, and don't even know how to change a tire, I think you should get this. I wish I could personally thank the team who makes this product, because in a world of corporate greed and planned obsolescence, this product dares to give consumers their power back.

Bought this to check out used vehicles I was looking at. Tried it out on my 99' Durango to see what it could do. Diagnosed a transmission problem, not upshifting at correct RPM, in about five minutes. It was a bad output shaft speed sensor. The sensor retails for $20. A lot cheaper to buy this tool and a sensor that takes five minutes to replace than going to a shop and being told they would have to pull the transmision just to check it out. This tools app is FREE and allows you to use it on just about any car sold in North America since 1996. The diagnostic parts of the app not only shows the trouble code but includes a list of potential causes and remedies. The list of causes is also user supported in that if you come up with a fix that isn't listed you can submit your cure to the app and it may then be the next update. This tool has a ton of features for the money. Some features I can't use on my older Dodge because the old software on its ECM just doesn't have the capacity. On my 06 4runner this thing shows a lot more potential for monitoring what is going on. Does need android 5.0 or newer or an apple device to work.

Delivered ahead of scheduled delivery date. Connection to my Samsung A17 and Lenovo tablet was impossible even after help from customer service agent James. I was able to connect with an old android phone running version 10 very easily and ran a diagnostic check of our 2023 Honda hybrid. It is a quality diagnostict tool.

View is for the delivery, not for the product itself. i purchased the product online.It was supposed to be delivered the next day. all day long it said it was on its way. then, at 7:30p, they say they issued a refund. There should be a law against this kind of behavior.

opened the package. it loomed great. Followed the direction that where included and I could not get the unit to connect to Bluetooth. I tried multiple times and it never connected.

doesn't do simple break pad reset oil resets. Get something more effective for the buck. Walmart has issues with returns as well when you try to return using online methods. tried to cancel it and return it in store but can't cancel it because of a system error.
