I know nothing about how to use these things but wanted to give it a try. More out of curiosity and independence from mechanics to rule out some things before taking it in. AI was also supportive throughout the process but also there is 24/7 support from technicians if needed. It gave me useful data which narrowed down my concerns. 2015 Jeep with 100K miles. Reduced gas mileage. Recommend to someone curious and somewhat patient. Ease of use was notable.

Used this after much research to clear an airbag problem and it worked! So I left the key on in the ignition and it drained my battery COMPLETELY. I found that the airbag system has a computer and air pump among other parts but research suggested if you have not had a deployment of the bags than the codes could be cleared and turns out the code showed Low Voltage is all that was wrong and I was able to clear all lights and warnings! Worked well for me but much time went into research prior to purchase, successfully. Thank God.

Had a few issues with the first one they sent, and it took a few calls and emails trying to figure it out, but after they’d confirmed I had a defective unit and sent me another one. I’ve had no issues. I use it at work all the time and actually prefer it over our snapon modis scanner for most things. It’s lightweight and easy to carry. The only thing I wish it had was a buzzer or something for when the car isn’t supplying signal. I’ve accidentally left it in multiple vehicles and had to have customers bring it back.

Used with Android, it just spun forever and wouldn't actually load enough to do anything with it. Tried with multiple phones, all Android and including a flagship device, no luck with any. I discovered after buying it that the app on the Google Play store has a lot of bad reviews, so I am suspecting at this point that it works well for iPhone and that's evyer the device's good reviews come from, but the Android app is not well built and doesn't work.

Item arrived in a timely manner, well packaged and undamaged. Item was easy to use when coupled with the corresponding app. I didn't realize it would not clear the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) warnings, which is the reason I purchased the item for, until doing further research into the items capabilities. It would have been helpful to know that before purchasing the item, but it doesn't allude to that inability in the description. Other than that, I'm happy with the item and will use it in the future when needed.

disappointing. purchased because it advertised the ability to read SRS codes for my Toyota Tacoma and the ability to read live data. unfortunately it does not read SRS codes at all, and the live data is extremely limited. it did not give me any live data related to emissions systems which is what I needed. in reality the device is no better than the $15 code reader from Temu.

It works amazingly. It definitely saved me a visit to the mechanic for something super simple that would have cost a lot more. My check engine light came on, and I had no idea what it could be. With this OBD scanner, it showed me that it was the mass air flow sensor, and it even linked the exact part on Amazon for an easy purchase. It’s a smart choice if you like to do things yourself or want to avoid mechanics telling you something different from the real issue. It connects easily to the car and links to the smartphone app almost instantly.

I had a maintenance required light on my 2021 Toyota, and the dealership wanted over $200 for the diagnostic. After buying this and Googling the code, I fixed it myself. I was able to buy the part for $80 including 2 day shipping, when others online paid $750 for the diagnostic, parts, and labor from the dealership. If I never fix another problem, it's already paid for itself and more.

This unit had a lot of good reviews which means it works for some. My experience was different. I had an ABS error and the scan tool said the right front sensor was bad. Unfortunately, it was the right rear sensor which meant I bought the wrong part. The support department was fairly responsive but it didn't change the fact it cost me for the wrong part and they couldn't tell me why it gave the wrong result. I did send the logs to them but I haven't heard back from them. I had to go to a mechanic to find out what was really wrong. Rather dismayed and disappointed by this. I will be returning this.

I really wanted to like this OBD2 Reader. It is highly rated, looks substantial and has a lot of good features, but I specifically chose to spend close to $100 for the specific purpose of monitoring the Transmission Fluid temperature on 1 Toyota and 2 Hondas in order to get an accurate fill level post-fluid change. Granted, the item description did not mention ATF temperature specifically, but it mentioned Transmission Codes twice. (If the vehicle has temp sensors in the transmission, why would this device not be capable of passing that information along to me?) Back to the drawing board....
