These come with the suction cup and I was surprised they hold well to the side of my inflatable hot tub. They do a good job catching scum from the top layer of the hot tub when the filter is running.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was unable to use it by the time the product got here because it's winter, so we packed it away with the pool/spa supplies in the garage and forgot to snap a photo but will add to review once spring comes around (promise!) ! It seems very reliable and study, doesn't feel cheap by any means, and we're looking forward to using it for its intended use in the spa we have! (Bonus is my husband is a pool guy, so he's super excited to try it out come the spring!)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rarely use my jacuzzi, but the PL Scum Sponge still does a great job keeping the water clean. It absorbs oils and residue so the waterline stays clear, even when the jacuzzi sits for a while. One thing I really like is that it's reusable; just toss it in the washer to clean it, and it's ready to go again. It's simple, lasts a long time, and makes jacuzzi maintenance effortless.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These weightless sturdy little balls do the maintenance of cleaning and chemicals. They are like a magnet for pool scum. The cups make them easy to remove and install. They are built for multiple uses and can be cleaned with little effort
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was honestly skeptical at first, but these scum sponge balls have made a noticeable difference in my pool. After just a few days of floating in the water, they started absorbing oils, sunscreen residue, and other grime that usually builds up along the waterline. What I love most is how low-maintenance they are. You simply toss them in the pool (or skimmer), and they quietly do their job. When they get dirty, you can rinse them out and reuse them. I've noticed less buildup on the tile and a cleaner-looking surface overall, which means less scrubbing for me. They're especially helpful if you have kids, host pool parties, or use a lot of sunscreen — all that body oil adds up quickly. While they don't replace regular chemical balancing or cleaning, they definitely reduce that stubborn oily ring around the pool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would've gave it more stars if the suction cup actually stuck to the tile of my pool. The concept is really great that the sponge absorbs all the oils from the surface of your pool. I tied it to the railing and it's working great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design on the bluescape scum sponge is great. The material is soft but durable. It helps clean my pool amazingly. It absorbs oil and pond scum. If someone gets in the pool with oils and or lotions it absorbs these!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is very durable, suction cups are great and stay stuck. They start off so nice looking but collect so much dirt that they change color. Just wash and reuse. Even after washing they still worked great! Noticeable difference in my pool and the clearness of my water.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had a pool since 2006 and always trying to find a way to keep the scum from around the edges. It gets bad from people wearing sun screen. These balls work really well in gathering stuff from the water.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So these come as a 2 pack which is pretty awesome. They start off looking nice and pretty. But after about 2 weeks they look gross. Easily washed and they grab tons. Of things that float. So they get 3 stars because at the end of the day in order to get the scum you have to take it to the wall of the pool the nice suction cup comes off easily if to close to water movement. It can trap all day long but not the greatest at much else. Theres no odor or mild after a few weeks. Not sure if they can hold up to an entire season though.
